I held positions of progressive responsibility at FedEx Supply Chain (previously ATCLE and GENCO). I was the IT Manager overseeing the development and sustainment departments before I assumed responsibility in December of 2010 for all strategic initiatives for IT.  In this role I partnered with all department heads as well as senior management to identify and clarify a business’s development needs and objectives.  I led the design, development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance service, increase customer satisfaction, improve operations and reduce cost.  These responsibilities included identifying enterprise-wide issues, quantifying impacts, developing improvement strategies, implementing integrated solutions, managing transformation and delivering results to executives.

At Bacou-Dalloz (now Honeywell) I provided technical guidance and direction during the build out of a new centralized distribution facility.  This included oversight of the facilities technical infrastructure and the implementation of the warehouse management system.  I was responsible for the technical strategy and the day to day operations of the IT department in the facility.

As a global team leader, I have managed diverse teams across various international locations, overseeing the recruitment, coaching, and mentoring of over 75 professionals. My mastery extends to leading and managing Enterprise Data Platform, Platform Engineering, Master Database Management, and Generative AI & Machine Learning initiatives.

I periodically review the Value Creation Process for organizational priorities such as Vision, Brand, Customer Experience, Revenue Growth, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Cyber Security. My innovative contributions include building an in-house enterprise data orchestration platform enabling Spark on K8s, featuring a low-code and config-driven data pipeline with logging and monitoring capabilities.

I streamlined automation success through CI/CD, DevOps, DevTestOps, and DevSecOps processes for Teradata, Informatica, MSBI, and Data processing operations, saving approximately 120 person-hours per year post-automation. Additionally, I implemented automation scripts to shift workload from SOS-Berlin to ControlM for data pipeline monitoring and observability, effectively managing 10,000+ ETL pipelines.

In this role, I played a pivotal role in collaborating with IT leadership to define and finalize service-level targets and enhancements for NBS feature development. I successfully managed the entire development lifecycle, from defining and architecting to implementing these initiatives. Establishing effective partnerships with Engineering and Test Managers, Product Line Leadership, Program Managers, PMO, and key leaders across various departments, I implemented release-based metrics and reporting. This included scheduled release summaries, reports on release activities, release health reports, and release implementation scorecards.

I led the transformation of development practices by migrating from a high-cost 3rd-party tool to an open-source solution, enabling Continuous Integration and development. I managed Single Sign-On (SSO), Oracle Identity Management (OIM), and Oracle Access Management (OAM) protocols. Additionally, I developed robust reporting tools and an information depository to measure conformance to entire processes and tool utilization through monthly metrics.

Spearheading In-house DevOps initiatives, I focused on Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and release automation. I successfully automated change management processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
