I'm fortunate to lead two great organizations.

After helping many companies scale with great talent, I've joined Instrumentum as their Chief Operating and Growth Officer, it was just too good to pass up.  My task?  Help the company scale profitably.  How?  People, Process, and Culture.  Fortunately, Cruxible Partners has provided the experience to do just that.

Instrumentum is doing great things - and Cruxible Partners is in the hands of an amazing team, so both are thriving.  Stay tuned as I share how Instrumentum is growing and changing the surgical landscape and how the leadership and talent lessons I've observed and shared over the last seven years at Cruxible are being applied.

I've spent 30+ years in corporate America, worked at three startups, and founded two companies myself.  Building teams was and is the most challenging part of the job.

•	Lead team in revenue generation for 2019 calendar year.
•	Provide advising and support in sales and business operations to the Vice President of Sales, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer, including organizing and leading quarterly business reviews, restructuring the sales forecasting process to improve accuracy and establish accountability, and leading weekly sales cadence calls. 
•	Spearheaded initiative to produce a tool that would enable the executive team, board of directors, and Venture Capital firm to objectively and accurately assess Sales Team performance and forecast sales revenue. 
▪	Collaborated with stakeholders to determine key performance indicators (KPI) and benchmarks. 
▪	Created a dashboard that gamified sales motions and reported data weekly to leadership, sales team, and VC firm.
▪	As a result, the Sales Team logged activities within SalesForce on a more consistent basis, producing a more accurate and predictable sales forecast over time; also enabled leadership to better assess employee performance and scale staff for future growth. 
▪	Final product highlighted for its exceptional results via a blog post created by the VC firm, attached below.

Regional Sales Manager

•	Lead a team of Account Executives responsible for selling into SMB and Mid-Market accounts and Sales Development Representatives responsible for pipeline generation.
•	Implemented policies to drive explosive growth, resulting in a 200%+ increase in pipeline generation.
•	Established the Mid-Market team, which added $250,000 in revenue with 1.5 FTE during its first quarter in existence. 
•	Provided advising and support to the Vice Presidents of Sales and Marketing around sales operations, introducing process improvements such as call scripts and email templates, and closing the feedback loop for lead generation.
•	Chaired task force to integrate Inside Sales and Account Management teams after Savvius Acquisition:
•	Monitored key program components, including performance around sales targets and commission plans, employee performance evaluations, and employee professional development.

•	Responsible for US and EMEA lead generation and qualification. 
•	Led redesign of team structure and messaging to create a more effective team, which resulted in 2 FTE being able to complete the workload of 5 FTE.
•	Evaluated existing sales methods and operations, and introduced efficiencies such as producing more personalized client outreach.

•	Developed strategy for primary, general, and special election campaigns for various organizations, Political Action Committees (PAC), and candidates ranging from municipal to congressional. 
•	Assessed races for State House and State Senate in the I-4 region, and made recommendations for PAC support.
•	Designed collateral and media strategy and developed voter-targeting profiles.
•	Built and trained teams of volunteers and paid staff.
•	Evaluated the effectiveness of client campaigns and implemented changes for stronger election-day results.
