Just wrapped an intensive session with Genaro M. - Subsecretário de Desarrollo Económico and Arturo Guerrero Gómez  de Desarrollo Empresarial) at Secretariat of Sustainable Development of Querétaro, México

SEDESU is the state-level architect of the region’s economic growth—overseeing the $200B automotive and aerospace clusters that serve as the backbone of North American nearshoring.

This dialogue comes at a pivotal moment. As Secretary of Economy Marcelo Luis Ebrard Casaubon joins Governor Mauricio Kuri at the Club de Industriales in Querétaro today, the mandate is clear: accelerate the $406B national investment portfolio by strengthening local supply chains.

But as the Secretary pushes for nearshoring at scale, the technical reality is that this growth requires a new layer of digital certainty. By collaborating with the Secretariat of Economy, we are ensuring that the digital infrastructure is ready to turn this macro-vision into operational reality.

With the April 1st SAT (Mexican tax authority) mandate (MVE) approaching, the industrial sub-tier is facing a digital hard stop. The requirement for real-time "Proof of Origin" to meet USMCA’s 75% regional content rules isn't just a tax hurdle—it’s a systemic risk to these export engines.

At Alisio, we are building the Verification Rail that turns this regulatory necessity into a bankable asset. By leveraging AI-driven ingestion, we capture and verify operational milestones in real-time, closing the data gap for all three pillars of the corridor:
