I have been promoted through roles of increasing accountability and leadership scope. As a Sr. Lead Scientist, I have overseen the AI Analytics Team with staff based across the U.S. I have spearheaded dozens of statistical and machine learning initiatives across the U.S. government, working with stakeholders in the Army, Navy, National Guard, and NASA markets, as well as NATO. I was selected to lead the Digital Battlespace Account’s Engineering Data Science sub-team in 2022, the newest account created to consolidate clients with heavy emphasis on cloud, operating at the edge (battlefield). I was first promoted to Lead Associate in 2017 to take over a struggling and understaffed team of 3 data scientists aligned to the Army market in Norfolk VA. During this initiative, I overcame challenges and grew the team to its current 36 staff under the Digital Battlespace Account (DBP). I also continuously network with other markets, NASA, NATO, Navy, Air Force, and Army, outside of assigned geography, to understand the pipeline, enabling successful future pitches based on staffing levels and skillsets.

Sr. Lead Scientist

Project/Engagement: NATO AI FELIX (Jan 2019 - Dec 2021 & (Dec 2022 - Present) 

Highlights:
-Tapped to assume project leadership role following 100% turnover in Dec 2022. Stepped in and quickly executed a successful turnaround strategy, recruiting staff and working with the client to maintain and renew the contract. Within 6 months, received  “letter of gratitude” for the work performed to date and a conversation has been initiated around securing a multi-year effort to use Large Language Models to build NATO an AI Assistant.

-Secured initial 2019 pilot contract at $150K and helped build the business case for a $1.5M annual contract. Built a solution that processed critical time sensitive reports—40-50 per staffer per day per command—to extract meta data, identify taskers, and create a searchable database, providing military leadership the most accurate information available at the time of decision.

•	Engaged as a senior subject matter expert (SME) to work with NASA engineers in the design of a mathematically defendable way of conducting preventative maintenance. Personally, designed the algorithmic approach to prioritize all maintenance backlog to mitigate the risk of facility down time during a critical test, presenting solutions aligned with existing NASA budgets, to steer multimillion dollar investments. Solution became the model for how to conduct preventative maintenance at NASA. 
•	Solution served as the foundation for NASA Langley's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate to evaluate how to invest remaining end of fiscal year funding.
•	Reduced $400M in backlogged maintenance projects down to $300M in two years, helping increase funding for the Agency through automation.

Project/Engagement: NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU
Highlights:
-Engaged by the Vice Chief of the National Guard, a three star general, to create a dashboard displaying critical Guard personnel metrics to inform the Commanders decision making. Authored original pitch, securing $1.5M contract and scaling to $2.5M based on additional needs, while assuming direct leadership of the initiative. 

-Automated key metrics into a single interactive app to allow the Vice Chief to have access to up to date information and make well informed decisions significantly faster. 

-Led significant change management to turnaround project, now expected to renew for an additional $3M+ extension. 

-Collaborated with numerous 1 and 2-star generals as well as the Vice Chief.
