Within my acupuncture I have specialized in psychosomatical complaints. Everybody has physical complaints from time to time. But when those complaints don't go away by themselves and the doctor cannot find a cause for them, then we speak of inexplicable physical complaints.

Just because the doctor cannot find anything wrong, doesn't mean that there is not a physical problem. With these types of complaints both physical as wel as psychological and social factors play a role. These factors influence each other and can maintain physical complaints. When you are experiencing physical complaints, this influences your feelings. But feeling too have an influence on your body. Think for instance of the tension you can feel before taking an exam.

The cause of the complaints is not always clear, but that does not mean that there is no treatment possible. When dealing with psychosomatical complaints we are dealing with physical complaints that are being influenced by psychological and social factors. The treatment will then be focused on three of these areas.
