● Conducted large scale evaluation of a HUD five-week national training program​, resulting in a
demonstration of program success in improving timeliness and quality of work.

● Led four-year effort to report on and improve processes related to the assessment of the
success of human capital best practices​ within the Department of Defense. 

● Re-designed and re-engineered entire HR Line of Business for the Securities and Exchange Commission

● Conducted holistic organizational assessment for US Marshals, leading to strategic re-structuring​. 

● Led a year-long program assessment for a government-wide initiative designed to decentralize
the monitoring of strategic human capital practices​.

● Developed and analyzed surveys assessing labor-management relations practices​ across DoD's 800,000 employees and 1300 local bargaining units.

● Led a research project examining employee creativity and performance at three organizations,
including a mortgage broker. This work involved conducting in-depth statistical analyses to link
employee attitudes and perceptions to performance evaluations and absenteeism data​.

● Evaluated the effectiveness of the R&D team format, involving collaborative knowledge management
technology, employed by a Fortune 500 chemical company​.

● Designed major research projects examining customer satisfaction with exhibits at a major
metropolitan zoo and a world-famous Aquarium. These projects entailed actively manipulating
aspects of the environment to determine how the changes would influence customer enjoyment​ of the leisure experience.

● Evaluated employee motivation and performance​ in a manufacturing and a social work
organization. Developed employee-attitude assessments and conducted statistical analyses of data.

manufactures “smells” for consumer products.

As a naturally curious person, I am fascinated by how things around us work and how familiar processes can be improved. I love solving problems and picking up useful new skills, be they as big as business decisions or as small as how to most efficiently fill the suitcase of an international student.

Originally from Germany, studying in Hong Kong and the US, I feel at home all around the world and am comfortable among very diverse people. 
I was delighted to be part of the Executive Committee of the International Student Association at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a cause I had wanted join since I was first welcomed at CUHK. Along with 7 determined colleagues facing unparalleled opportunities, I was a key figure in conceptualising and hosting the university’s first ever virtual international student orientation, welcoming over 175 freshmen from all around the globe.

When I participated in a case competition by a leading consulting firm, I immediately felt captivated by the problem-solving process. Challenging as it was, I enjoyed breaking down and analysing the problem, identifying the core business challenges and stakeholders, gaining industry insights through my research, and putting forward solutions. 
I am since determined to gain experience and pursue a career in the consulting industry. As an economics student minoring in psychology, I can quickly grasp a wide range of topics and look at issues from different perspectives as they evolve.

I consider communication and team spirit in diverse environments my strong suits and am a problem-solver.
