Hey! I’m Janis Ozolins

End of 2016, by a lucky accident, I found a new dream for myself. Make a living online.

4 years later (a time filled with learning, failed experiments, and consumed content), still no revenue or audience.

Then I stumbled into the idea of communicating through visuals. I loved it and pursued it seriously.

6 months later, I felt momentum and left my corporate job. 1 year later, my visuals brought in more money than I made in my 9-5.

My dream to make a living online was complete. I’m feeling very grateful writing this.

Now I spend my time learning, creating, and teaching.

Assistant Professor in Branding & Well-being

Sofia Kousi is an Associate Professor at Nova SBE, where she teaches Brand Management, and Evidence-based Practices for Wellbeing. Her research interests lie in branding and consumer wellbeing, focusing on the relationship between various types of consumption and happiness. Prior to joining Nova SBE she was a category brand manager at Pepsico, as well as a brand strategist and researcher at Interbrand and ACNielsen, working with global clients like Kodak Professional, ING, Reckitt Benckiser, Prozac, Jameson, Petrobras, and more.
