End of 2016, by a lucky accident, I found a new dream for myself. Make a living online.

4 years later (a time filled with learning, failed experiments, and consumed content), still no revenue or audience.

Then I stumbled into the idea of communicating through visuals. I loved it and pursued it seriously.

6 months later, I felt momentum and left my corporate job. 1 year later, my visuals brought in more money than I made in my 9-5.

Worked with a local Seattle business to support their marketing to drive more sales 
(signed under an NDA).

Several meetings demonstrated a need for an increase in both a marketing and financial standpoint. 

My responsibilities were:
• Analyzed balance sheets using Excel’s X-lookups to reduce unnecessary expenses and improve payroll for employees.
• Initiated wholesale opportunities to increase year-round profits by a projected 10% year-over-year.

Eat Together is a mobile app that promotes student connections at the University of Washington through food. The app features an all-in-one space to list food-related and activity-based events in a centralized platform for app users to post and host food gatherings, events, and social meetups.

The app recommends relevant events for students by matching students with events based on their interests, food preferences, and daily availability (through Google Calendar API integration).
Especially with students' busy schedules, students can sign up for events without the hassle of managing and restructuring their schedules to accommodate others, but instead sign up for events with ease:

* Managed Husky Seed Fund capital to further connect students through weekly gatherings and year-round events.
• Facilitated partnerships with 3 local organizations to host several 110+ participant food-based networking events.
• Led a cohort program that increased app downloads by 15% and monthly recurring users by 10%.

Marketing, Outreach, and Brand Strategy

UW Visual Arts Society

Cofounded a club to provide digital media services to University of Washington students to help make their startups, academic clubs, and businesses come to life with advanced marketing.

• Filmed 4 client projects for UW academic clubs and local organizations to spread awareness, raising over $500.
• Onboarded & Managed 8 VAS filmers to ensure client work was delivered efficiently.

Several meetings demonstrated a need for an increase in the business's online presence including social media marketing, SEO, and community engagement through blogging and event planning. 

An entire marketing strategy was created which included the step-by-step process to utilize blogs via Medium.com, Instagram and TikTok Marketing, flyers and event ideas for community involvement, and SEO strategies to increase organic reach across multiple generations searching the web.

My accomplishments:
• Optimized online presence utilizing tools such as Medium.com, Uber Suggest, and MOZ
• Implemented social outreach strategies on Instagram and Link Tree
• Elevated social media, blogs, and website SEO resulting in increased online media interactions.
• Identified various new marketing pathways for a local Seattle-based vintage clothing firm projecting in 5% more
sales during holiday shopping and increase foot traffic in store.
