I’m Hanna Palei - impact entrepreneur, CEO & Co-founder of Maramora, an art-led well-being solution I launched after 10+ years producing cultural and arts projects. We combine simple art practices and applied psychology to help people and organisations build attention, resilience and meaningful connection.

Maramora was shortlisted for the CultTech Association × Ars Electronica Award 2024 (Social Impact in Culture & Technology) and has been featured in Digital Health & Life Sciences, Tech.EU and MyCompanyPolska.pl. As an entrepreneur I’ve founded three impact companies across three countries.

In Europe I run a boutique consulting designing products and services for founders, executives and entrepreneurs. I offer practical, testable formats: One-Day Business Intensives (5 hours), LinkedIn coaching for leaders and strategies for companies and curated residencies for founders and entrepreneurs. 

I frequently speak and advise on creative industry topics such as trends, ArtTech and mindful leadership, and I mentor programs for women entrepreneurs on career and professional development. I bring hands-on experience in concept development, fundraising, evaluation and production.

⭕ I had the privilege of sharing my entrepreneurial journey with students on the European Humanities University course “Fundamentals of Project Management and Cultural Entrepreneurship".

From my perspective, entrepreneurship in the arts is still too often overlooked. But what I’ve learned is that the most important skills come from practice, not theory. From people who build from scratch, with doubts, mistakes, ups and downs, and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it. 

-> I spoke about maramora journey and my entrepreneurship path in #Poland, and my experience in the Culttech Accelerator as a space to learn from builders in the arts.

I attended the Women in CreativeTech meetup in #Warsaw and was really impressed by the scale and quality of the audience. Big thank you Agnieszka Cichocka for invitation and everyone I had the chance to meet. Hearing your stories was inspiring.

As I grow my consulting work in Poland with executives and entrepreneurs — and as a founder myself — I’m watching the local ecosystem closely, especially the role of women founders in the creative & tech fields. Women remain underrepresented in VC and leadership roles globally, so I believe events like this are vital for ecosystem development.

⭕ Entrepreneurship is the only job where you can be the CEO and the intern in the same moment.

When you're a founder, you are the business's most valuable and also most fragile resource.
You don't just wear all the hats - you're the single point where things might break. If you get sick or burn out, everything stops.

You own every outcome. The weight includes both financial and emotional risks - hard to explain but very real.

And the isolation is real.

Creating routines that truly support you is an essential part of this journey. I think about each day as a small experiment—inspired by Anne-Laure Le Cunff, PhD Tiny Experiments: How to Live Freely in a Goal-Obsessed World.

My routines are pretty simple - sea walks, reading, art observance, music. How do you care for yourself as a founder? What really helps you keep your energy and clarity? Do you lean into small daily rituals, or do you need bigger breaks to reset?

A client recently told me, "The wellness recommendations from my manager feel neither safe nor reliable. They just don’t work for me."

Her words point to a problem I encounter all the time.  Even with generous funding, participation in company wellness programs often stays low (20-40% participation). This isn’t about lack of resources - it’s about a lack of trust.
This is the gap between knowing help exists and feeling safe enough to actually use it.

▪️ The cost of that silence is significant. When people don’t feel they can speak openly, healthcare expenses quietly rise each year and team performance suffers.

▪️ This is why we need to bring the conversation beyond “wellness perks” toward “human sustainability.” Support has to be built in a way that doesn’t put anyone on the spot.

Human sustainability means creating safe space for yourself with little resets that feel easy and natural during a busy day. #Art could be a thing, but not necessary. What's your tools?

Going back to classics. Watching a film. Reading an old book just to get lost in the words. Visiting a gallery and standing in front of a painting without hunting for business ideas.
Supporting projects you love. A donation to a project, business, or newsletter that matters to you. Shifting from "competitor mode" to connection.
Send a hug or a message to someone you love.
A cup of good coffee. Simple is the best.
