2020. did an internship as a marketing strategist in a mental health clinic

2021. got my first international client as a freelancer. worked as an intern at big shot agencies w big shot clients like jio and bridgestone and sap. dropped out of college.

2022. moved to bangalore for 3 months to work at a cool startup as a sales/marketing generalist. decided to specialise in writing. started playing w the gpt 3 of open ai (pre-chatgpt).

2023. used chatgpt and midjourney to create campaigns and content for big pharma companies in india. got scammed of $1500 twice in 6 months. decided to specialise in linkedin personal branding. did linkedin outreach for a big shot brand designer in the uk and commenting for a brand designer in the us. failed at both terribly.

2024. got 2 wins, brand designer and performance marketer got 50k and 30k impressions in 20 days. started a 100 day challenge (twice), failed terribly but made a lot of friends. family member suffered a terrible health problem (shook me for good) and then later i broke my leg and on bed rest for 3 months, both the challenges ended w health tragedies (never taking a 100 day challenge again). convinced my bestf to quit his job and join me. we started an agency, laas (linkedin-as-a-service).

2025. got 2 beta clients. one lawyer in the us who wanted to be consistent and the other was a brand designer who wanted tangible results. 2x engagement for the brand designer and booked 6 calls in a month. lawyer was able to be consistent. its may and we’re starting the free month offer now.

i have over 300 pending connection requests. i ignore 99% of them. its the same boring shiz on their profile w no solid exp. but every once in a while comes someone like sneha, who's put in real effort to stand out. i absolutely love the banner, its so fuckin good. im sure im not the only one who noticed it and loved it and accepted her connection request. it shows how genuine effort doesn't go to waste. it takes only a few hours to brainstorm and few more hours to actually create something on canva. most people never put in those few hours. here's your sign to put in those few hours :)

a thank you to a mentor who changed your life.

those aren't tasks to automate.

ai can help you work faster.

but it shouldn't creep into your personal life.

i said no to a client yest willing to pay 1 lakh / 3 months in advance cause he had a demanding tone and kept ordering me to do things instead of requesting / asking. the clients making billion dollars, creators w millions of followers, none of them “order” me to do something, they all ask / request. we even request / ask for things from our house help instead of ordering. its basic decency to be polite w the people who are helping you / working for you / working w you. i have always drawn a hard line towards not tolerating this type of entitled pushy behaviour, this is why i have 15 indian clients and not one of them is toxic :)

i just closed a client for ₹1,00,000 / 3 months. i asked him can i post about this publicly, he said sure and can you teach me how to do these “just closed a client” posts. i was like sure, i asked him a few questions and sent him a post in under 10 mins. he absolutely loved it and is more excited to work now. if you want to write these posts as well just do these 3 things. 1/ jot down the basics of the deal, who is the client, when did you close them, how did you close them. 2/ start the hook w “i just closed a client” and if you can’t mention for much or the identity of the client, just mention ther revenue and industry. 3/ attach some sort of visual proof if possible, it helps massively, if not, thats alr as well. lemme know if you’ve got more questions :)

7 freakin years. where tf did all this time go? i genuinely feel our addiction of content consumption is fucking w our concept of time. our brains are so overstimulated all the time its difficult to remember anything. we collectively as a society are losing our ability to remember stuff. we need a detox more than we realise. we need to be more mindful and stare at the wall more often. we need to do nothing more often so we create space for ourselves to think about what we’re doing and what do we actually want to do in this moment. stare at the wall rn for 5 mins, i swear to god your brain will go quiet and you will feel so light and calm and suddenly you will start noticing all the sounds around you and you will feel so emotionally energised. im not kidding. try it (literally) rn.

im taking a challenge to go viral on linkedin by just writing long blocks of text. every post will be just one big block of text, zero exceptions. im doing this cause its v difficult and it v clearly stands out and it is also v non performative. ik its ironic cause i run a linkedin personal branding agency and im supposed to build my brand using the writing fundamentals i use for my clients, but eh, its boring, we're working w founders of billion dollar companies, we're building personal brands for creators w millions of subs, i no longer need to depend on my linkedin to get clients, so i can finally afford to do crazy experiments like this one

this is proof that good writing doesn't need formatting. you can write a big block of text and still go viral / perform well. this is just the beginning, i plan to keep writing these blocks until i get 100k impressions on a single post. linkedin ghostwriter gone rouge? yea that sounds fun. i just love being anti-cliche whenever i can. doing the exact opposite of what everyone else is doing. its like an itch i can't stop scratching.

the unconditional love and support i get from people in my life, whether strangers or close friends, is the only reason ive been able to do whatever ive done. its like i have a source of endless love and care, and so i never run out of good energy, which is also why im able to help as many people as i can. it’s also why i feel there’s enough for everyone in this world and we should def be sharing and supporting each other. im a giver only cause im privileged enough to get more than i need, so people who aren’t able to give as much, i dont judge them or blame them, i just plan to give them more than what they can take so they’d also start giving others :)

i have tonsils. it sucks. and apparently stanford says rays emitted by linkedin makes tonisls worse(thanks Gulsheen), so i wasn’t able to post much today, not that it matters cause im way ahead of gulsheen. the 7 day challenge is so fun even when im sick. i wrote one post when i was waiting for doc and one rn when im about to have dinner and sleep. everyone gimme get well soon in the comments to increase engagement and beat gulsheen :)

my linkedin content strategy:

(not perfect, but it got us 15+ industry leaders as clients)

1/ i posted 557 times in one year.

2/ that's roughly 11 posts a week, every single week.

3/ it generated 1.2 million impressions.

4/ the goal wasn't to go viral. it was to attract inbound clients.

5/ every post had to answer: "why should they care?"

6/ i write like i'm texting a friend. no corporate jargon.

7/ i read my drafts the next day. 90% of the time, i'd scroll past it myself. so i delete and start over.

8/ takes many iterations to please myself.

9/ i focus on: frameworks, personal stories, and client results.

10/ plain text only. no fancy formatting. like a conversation.

11/ no stock images, no carousels. just words that hit.

12/ goal is engagement, not followers. comments matter more than likes.

13/ if someone comments with a real question, i take it to dms.

14/ my target: content that makes people want to work with me, not just like my post.

this approach helped us land clients like:

• creator w 2.8 m subs (500k impressions in 40 days)
• head of socials at an mnc (102k in 10 days)
• creator w 500k subs (174k in 25 days)

we now have a 100k impressions guarantee. if you don't hit it in 3 months, we work for free until you do.

3/ use a specific number or timeframe
"i spent 47 hours analyzing viral posts"

4/ open with a personal confession
"i was completely wrong about content strategy"

5/ create a knowledge gap
"everyone's using this hook formula backwards"

the hook isn't about being creative. it's about being clear and creating tension.

you have 140 characters before the "see more" button.

use them like your engagement depends on it.
