🚀 First-gen American. Med school dropout. Surgical robotics marketer turned founder. My story 👇

My story began on the US/Mexico border in El Paso, Texas, where my parents taught me discipline, curiosity, and relentless work ethic. 

As a first generation American I embraced these values along with what it means to be an American and pursue my version of "The American Dream". 

I earned an academic scholarship to medical school—but in 2012, I walked away to pursue a different operating room: technology.

At Mazor Robotics, the first robotic spine surgery company, I started “carrying the bag” in the OR as a clinical sales rep. Within a few years, I was leading US Marketing—launching patient-education campaigns that helped turn a niche innovation into a recognized category.

Over the next decade, I helped multiple high-tech startups shape categories, drive adoption, and reach IPOs. I co-founded a consumer brand, built digital demand systems, and learned that attention and adoption are two sides of the same craft.

In 2022, I launched into my entrepreneurial journey. Through various iterations, successes and failures I found a way to help early stage medtech companies where they needed the most help; marketing and sales.

I rebranded and launched MarketCraft, a market engineering agency built to help medtech startups.

We help founders craft a clear, magnetic narrative and engineer systems that attract physicians, investors, and acquirers—moving markets from first impression to full adoption.

I also host The State of MedTech, the #1 podcast in medtech, where I interview the founders, investors, and clinicians shaping the future of healthcare.

When I’m not building markets or scaling stories, I’m spending time with my wife and children, mentoring future leaders, jiu jitsu, and building a legendary home library.
