In 2019, I left my €28,500/yr job in London. 

In exchange for a €14,000/yr job in Cyprus.

My parents had divorced (twice) and moved to different cities.

We lost my childhood home due to unpaid debt. 

But I wanted to be close to my father, who was diagnosed with lung cancer & bipolar.

So, I lived and worked from my girlfriend's parent's attic. With no office.

6 pets. 1 bed. A backpack. A laptop. A family.

I designed & coded websites for a Casino company from 9AM-5PM amidst the pandemic.

My 5-9 soon became a 5PM-3AM.

Because I spent every second I had awake to find clients, learn to write, market myself, and founded Mojo Design.

And every penny I had went to feed the pets and support my family.

Cold emails. Rejections. Months unpaid. F*CK.

But those 0,01% daily efforts eventually brought some stability.

In March 2020, I handed in my noticed and doubled down on writing, sales & marketing.

2020-2022: 

- I scaled Mojo to $500K/ARR. Serving 300+ clients of the likes of EA Sports, FIFA, Toni & Guy, Tayo Hendrix, Mara.  

- I co-founded a Metaverse Consultancy and scaled it to $1.2M in 9 months.

2023:

- Buying a beach home for my beautiful mother & my 2 sisters because f**k debt, cheers to freedom. Thank you for everything.

- Helped dad physically & financially with his battle against cancer; he’s alive and well 

- Founded Modern Maker, my solo consultancy helping creators install low ticket funnels, offers and email writing to build leverage.

With everything I've learned over the past decade.

I have amazing students that words can't explain how proud of them I am.

I chose freedom over status. And it was the best decision of my life.

2024-2026:

- I reached my goal turning Modern Maker into a 7-figure business solo, which is emotional looking back to 2019. 

- Served over 350+ beautiful souls as clients and over 2,800+ customers who bought little Micro Snacks from me.

- Got married to my best friend & had a daughter who turned 1 this week 🤍

- Bought my own family a car & house and incorporated another real estate portfolio for the future 

- Adopted another dog and another cat, after the pet roster changed due to some aging moments.

- Ran a marathon in under 5 hours 

- Fed over 200 elderly families last year in memory of grandad and his battle against cancer from Modern Maker proceeds

And the cycle goes on. It’s surreal as I feel I’m only just getting started.

But I would have never come this far without the guidance of my mentors, my family and my students & clients.

I owe it to them BIG time. I have so much love for the game, it’s oozing out of me.

Investing in myself. My freedom. My future time. My knowledge.

Something no one can take away from me.

And I'm eternally grateful.

My grandfather once told me:

“When you’ve had enough to eat, feed others.”

I have been humbled. 

We are in the process of moving houses.

It's the first time I've owned a pool. 

I have no idea what chlorine is. I have no idea what all these buttons do and there's this weird bunker with on/off switches that make scary machine sounds. 

I've decided to use the bunker to hide from the DM bros who wear crocs & pitch me their services relentlessly. 

All that aside if you know anything about cleaning pools, send help.

This is the part where I’m supposed to switch to “…and here’s what it taught me about LinkedIn sales” but my soul can’t bare it.

PS. We got my daughter watermelon socks.

Watermelon is the best fruit on planet earth. Fight me.

LinkedIn is ducked up.

I used to spend hours doing LinkedIn carousels. Or write long form posts, only to barely get like 4k views nowadays.

I've sent over 3,000 thank you videos. 

I had a client remind me of this the other day. 

Someone tagged me. A post that said somebody who's so successful spent 10 seconds to thank me.

And I've been doing this and not thinking much of it. 

But every time somebody buys a $9, $99, or $500 product off me, I whip out my phone, open the Loom app, and send them a 10-second thank you. 

I can't tell you how many conversations that has instigated, how many relationships have come out of those, and how many customers have ended up becoming lifelong clients. 

Maybe it's in our nature as Cypriots; we just like to thank people and give.

But thinking about it, any time I've bought a digital product, I was left with that automated invoice. 

It takes ten seconds to thank someone. 

And it literally costs $0. 

Give that a go.

I got 850,000 impressions over 3 months.

(Considering my 51k audience that's on the higher end for me)

It's approx. 120% up from the prev. 90 days.

Because I changed 2 fundamental things in my content.

I'm by no means an expert. But, It seems the platform is in a maturity stage right now. 

My data-driven assumption:

People are bored of the strategies and tactics. They resonate more with real time stories, insights & entertainment.

Some of my heaviest hits over the quarter have been:

- LinkedIn memes talking about reach
- Telling people I bought a house
- Pointing at how terrible ppl in my DMs are
- Breaking down how I achieved a profit number
- Breaking down my funnel and how I got a result

As soon as you introduce insights from actual day to day work you do, you stand out in a sea of copy-paste like content that has no soul.

I’ve since changed my strategy to start getting more email subscribers with these ways of writing. And in turn sales. Tbh, it’s been a lot more fun writing content as it comes straight out of client work, and a splash of humor.

Well, at least that’s my view.

TLDR:

1. Be a mad scientist. 
2. Go do cool shit. 
3. Tell people what you did. 

And have some fun.

Last Friday I decided to take the day off completely to be with my daughter.

She’s at a stage where she’s saying words & walking.

Mama had to go do an onsite visit with her own company.

Usually I may do some admin work and be around for the morning.

But this time we decided to stroll around the park, play with the doggies, enjoy some sunshine.

I’m just so grateful that I get to do this.

We have food on our plate.
We have a roof over our head.
We have all our bills paid.

It’s the little things that we take for granted or forget on most days that make it all count.

I’m still figuring out how to do this dad thing.

Every decision like this though, makes it worth it.

People overcomplicate it.
People stall & doubt themselves.
People think they need all sorts.

All you need is a calendar link and some content.

The short of it is:

• Figure out a process you do well. 
• Something you could map out as a gameplan.

Then:

1. Add paid calendar link to your featured section 
2. Write content about what you do in the calls
3. Repeat step 2, on a weekly basis 
4. Offer customers to go faster, on a 1:1 basis

Keep it super simple.

We got tricked into thinking we’re machines - that our value comes from output, from hitting KPIs, from constant optimization.

But you were never designed to be a productivity engine.

You were made to breathe. To feel. To connect. To rest.

The grinding? The endless goal-setting? The performance anxiety?

It’s all running against what your body already knows: you’re enough.

Not ‘enough for now until you prove yourself again tomorrow.’

Just… enough.

The space between achievements isn’t wasted.

Yesterday I saw a post that said: “Selling low ticket is stupid. Just charge $5k.”

Here's my honest take:

Last week I had 3 people opt into my $5,000 offer and onboarded themselves without me being there to do any of the selling (it’s wild to me).

Version 2 of The Micro Snack Funnel is working quite well.

I simplified my model down to these 6 steps:

1. Organic or paid content 

I post daily on LinkedIn. Twice a week I invite people into my email list. I also run very low cost ads through meta to supplement organic efforts. The whole point of this content is to get people to step 2.

2. Video powered sales page 

Once someone opts into my world they’re shown a 10 minute video training. The whole purpose of the training is to instill belief into my unique method. A process I use to get someone from point A to B.

They’re then presented with a $9 micro snack, which is an ai powered gameplan tool. This increases implementation not consumption and allows people to get a custom plan on how to get customers for their business. I have an order bump and an upsell to help me liquidate ad spend and pretty much grow my email list for free. Approx. 30% buy the order bump, and 11% buy everything.

So transactions range between → $9 / $58 / $257.

(I make about $1.5k/day with this funnel).

3. Post purchase emails

Most people send you an invoice when you buy a digital product and leave you hanging. I launch 4x emails that make sure the customer implements what they bought, and then ask them if they want to go faster by working together 1:1. Simple as that. I usually ask them to reply with a keyword. About 10% do so.

4. High ticket invite

Once someone asks for the details to go faster I send them my 1:1 offer in a document. And ask them to message me back if they have any questions. That document has everything from the promise, the plan & price. By this point the customer knows everything that’s on the cards.

5. Direct message

It’s a two way street. I usually ask people some basic questions to see if they’re a good fit and vice versa. If I genuinely believe I can help them, and the feeling is mutual, I move on to the next step.

6. Payment link 

I send a link to get started with two payment options. Either pay in full or weekly. Then that automatically triggers my onboarding process and we move into the kickoff call.

TLDR:

1. Give someone a plan
2. Ask if they want to go faster 

This model gets daily customers to come through the door every day and gets about 2-3 clients for me a week. It’s the simplest it’s ever been and I’ve never been more excited for it.

Last week alone revenue hit $42k.

Genuinely excited to be installing it for my clients.

I’ve made an offer to my email list every day for the last 4 years.

Last week a Modern Maker member asked how I piece it together. 

So, here’s a breakdown: 

1. Pick your offer cycle 

There’s 4 weeks in a month. I rotate between low & high ticket offers, but I pick what offer to sell every week before I write anything. It’s usually workshops, or digital products (micro snacks) on the low end, and 1:1 or group consulting on the higher end. I like my offer cycles between 7-9 days as it gives me room to write in different angles.

2. Pick your content types

I want to tackle both masculine & feminine energy, so I alternate between these 4 content types: Problem, Proof, Philosophy, Plan. Usually these are more than enough to cover all the ground I need, and I often do 2 or more for each weekly campaign.

3. Pick your real time stories

I keep things simple. Every week I’m busy serving clients or living life. I pick out real time events from my most recent experiences and weave those into the 4Ps listed above. I make sure there’s a balance between life vs business content to keep it entertaining.

Then I take action:

Now that I know what offer I’m selling, what content types & stories to weave in, I get going. I also make sure if it’s a workshop or something has a deadline, to be explicit about it in the last few emails.

It’s been really fun writing little story driven emails and pivoting into offers.

That’s all it is. TL;DR:

1. Pick your offer cycle 
2. Pick your content types
3. Pick your stories 

Write them out and invite them to buy.

I’ve not sent a cold DM in over 3 years.

I’m not aligned with them. So I just don’t do them. Now what I love doing is writing one post a day. But  to make it profitable a few other pieces of the puzzle should sync up.

I call my system The 1 Post A Day Funnel. It’s the engine behind my one person business - Modern Maker  

Inside of it there’s 3 Pads:

✨Offer Pad

My service written out in a Document, which acts as an invitation into my core offer. It’s the last thing people see but it’s the first thing I get done because now I know how to articulate what I do much clearer. And people can be sold into my core offer without the need to do any calls.

🧙‍♂️ Leverage Pad

This is a funnel that takes a micro element from my Offer Pad and turns it into to a digital product. That’s why I call them Micro Snacks. Whenever people opt into my list, some buy $100-250 snacks and get a taste of my world. These people are now customers. They’re then sent 4x emails that ascend a percentage of customers into clients.

🌊 Post Pad

I write a post every day, which has gotten me over 50k followers over the last 3 years. But twice a week I invite people into my email list, which acts as fuel to my Snack Pad. Now my ideas and philosophies have a purpose. I see it as a work of art & expression that fuels my funnel, allowing the ones who want to go deeper to do so.

Once you install your offers & funnels, your writing does the selling for you.

Without you having to be there.

You can start building a body of work.

TLDR:

Offer → Snacks → Posts.

Now you get to sit in your Creator’s seat.
