Ekta Singh, an accomplished legal professional with a focus on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Technology, began her distinguished career in law in 2018. Upon registering with the Bar Council of Delhi and successfully passing the All India Bar Exam, she committed herself to providing exceptional legal counsel, representation, and legal document drafting for a diverse client base before numerous courts and tribunals.

In pursuit of international exposure and a desire to broaden her legal and economic understanding, Ekta relocated to Germany in 2020 as a DAAD Scholar. At the esteemed Leuphana University in Lüneburg, she embarked on an intensive Master's study in Public Economics, Law, and Politics. Concurrently, Ekta discovered her fascination with the intersection of law and emerging technology during her research on Intellectual Property in the context of blockchain technology.

Recognizing the transformative potential of web3 and Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Ekta took the initiative to enhance her competencies through specialized courses and engaging with global web3 communities. She also learned JavaScript and Solidity. She demonstrated her leadership by leading the web3lex project since 2021, an innovative open-source comprehensive legal knowledge base for the web3 community.

Ekta has also contributed to the legal and business foundations of a tech startup in Berlin. Her versatility in drafting legal agreements, ensuring compliance, and spearheading business development initiatives has proven invaluable in this early-stage venture. In her most recent role with a DeFi startup, she has taken up the challenge of navigating the intricate labyrinth of crypto and DeFi regulations in the EU and Germany.

After submitting her Master's thesis on the complex subject of Ownership and IP issues in Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) under German law, Ekta is now preparing for the publication of a research paper that further explores this dynamic field.

Beyond her roles in startups, Ekta offers her profound insights and pragmatic advice as an advisor, where she leverages her acumen in business development, investor relations, and persuasive pitching.

Outside the professional realm, Ekta leads a balanced lifestyle with interests in yoga, travel, photography, and literature. Her pursuits reflect a keenness for continuous learning, cultural exploration, and personal growth.
