My biggest marketing mistake?

Not sending enough emails

I've spent YEARS wondering what nurture emails to send to leads, how I should personalize them for different buyers, and how to sequence them most effectively

I've planned SOP-style emails, customer-centred emails, behavioural emails, "claim your account" emails

I've created 10+ nurture sequences for different ICPs

But this was all over thinking

Nurture emails have one goal: remind people you exist

Everything else is a nice to have

So I've decided to stop thinking about what to write, and start hitting send

I used to run a music website that compared pop stars with potatoes

Now I spend most my day writing quite-nice sales and marketing assets assisted by AI

I want to capture some of the silliness and weirdness of my past

Who out there is sharing audacious, ridiculous marketing in the B2B space?

Is there any humour left? #buildinpublic

We're doing $1million ARR with 3 people

But now I am looking for the fourth

I want the marketer that can work alongside me and help take Senja from $1,000,000 -> $2,000,000 ARR

I'm personally working on product and lifecycle marketing

So I want the person that will do customer-centred marketing

Collaborating with partners, educating sign ups, reaching out to dream customers

Where do you find this type of person?

My instinct is that I need to head hunt them and this person won't come to me

Hey there 👋

I started my marketing journey at 16 - not by accident, but because I wanted to make some money online during my vacation. I launched a blog and published a few articles after days of research and writing… I had ZERO traffic. That’s when I understood:  even if you have a great product, if no one sees it, it’s as good as invisible.

So I started exploring everything I could and found: SEO, ads, performance marketing, referrals, etc. The first marketing skill I learned was SEO, and I learned it from scratch from YT, made a ton of mistakes, tested on my own blog, and finally made my first $. That small win was my starting point and what started my career.

Now, as a 20-year-old with 4 years of marketing experience, I work as a Product Marketing Manager & Marketing Strategist with a focus on SEO & Content Marketing for various brands. 

I’ve delivered results that go beyond “more traffic”, like tripling organic visits, improving CTR from 1.7% to 4.2%, keeping 85% of customers after a major promotion, and ranking Shopify apps in the top 3 for competitive keywords.

For me, marketing is about the full journey and is something I enjoy doing. From attracting the right people, converting them into customers, and keeping them coming back. Whether it’s refining product positioning, running SEO experiments, or building a go-to-market plan.
