OffChain Global is building a trusted global community where members can build their professional social network through virtual and in-person events and find the resources, both locally and globally, required to be a productive member of the Web3 professional world.

We welcome those who are already part of the Web3 world, as well as, those who are interested in entering it; whether that means starting a company, getting a job, holding digital currency or just learning the lingo for party conversations. 

Blockchain industry folks are plugged into the network 24/7 and are looking for an excuse to unplug once in a while to socialize. As the world becomes more and more on-chain, we see this as the perfect opportunity to go off chain to meet other passionate people in the space and educate newcomers.

OffChain meetups are for socializing and learning from one another so that we can stay up to date with the latest news and developments in the blockchain space. Going OffChain provides a casual space to not only talk about crypto but also make friends with people that have a very similar interest to us.

It’s also a great opportunity for those new to the blockchain space to learn from the old timers as they can catch them during their downtime.

OffChain was started in 2017 with the vision of bringing people together to connect on a human level. Our regular meetups are very casual with no speakers or sponsors but we have been known to have a speaker or panel from time-to-time.

I am a dedicated social entrepreneur who is strongly committed to using technology to promote financial inclusion and economic empowerment in the Global South.

At the age of 23, I achieved a successful exit from my first tech venture and subsequently co-founded New Scholars, an organization based in Kenya that focuses on education and innovation to enhance opportunities and access for underserved communities. My work has consistently been guided by the conviction that thoughtfully designed technology can bridge systemic divides and facilitate meaningful, lasting change.

I pursued my studies at Santa Clara University and Harvard, where I gained a solid understanding of economic development and technology-focused solutions. Additionally, I am honored to be a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, reflecting my dedication to academic excellence and leadership in thought.

My professional path has taken me through a variety of experiences, including consulting for an experimental charter city in Honduras and addressing the complexities of land ownership in Guatemala. It was during this period — after witnessing financial exclusion and land insecurity firsthand — that the concept for Commonlands was conceived.

I founded Commonlands with a clear mission to unlock entrepreneurial potential, restore trust in financial systems, transform credit delivery, and promote global economic empowerment. Through the use of decentralized technology, we are creating a future where land security and access to finance are regarded as fundamental rights for all.
