Never before human health and skin problems have had such focus and importance. In a modern and globalized world where climate change has a direct impact in our lifes, our health presents a straight response of this evolution and not for the best. That is why Yves Rocher and so many other outstading brands, present a more sustainable and environmental friendly range of biological origin products. For instance, last April and after years of research, Yves Rocher launched (in Portugal) the first green-algae based face cleaning set that includes foam to exfoliating mask  by using Tetraselmis extract, a powerful oxygenating organism. This algae is also known in several research and development studies regarding EPS (expolysaccharides) production with potentially beneficial biological applications to human health, such as antioxidant and antitumor properties (cytotoxic effects on tumor cells). Therefore, the extracts of Tetraselmis (and other algae species) are among the best bioproducts ever to our skin and metabolism.
