“Workaholic hoon.”
 Ye line aaj bhi kaafi proudly boli jaati hai.

Today when i was sitting with my team, like 30-min non-work chat

Someone shared- "My previous manager used to say proudly that during her pheras also, she was taking meetings. That’s how workaholic she is."

And honestly, it made me pause.
Because if you can’t be mentally present on one of the most important days of your life,
is that really something to be proud of?

Somewhere along the way,
we’ve romanticised burnout.
We’ve confused being always available with being committed.

But here’s the truth (especially for founders & leaders):

Being a workaholic is not culture.
It’s not leadership.
And it’s definitely not something your team should feel pressured to copy.

Your team doesn’t learn balance from policies.
They learn it from how you live.

Strong culture is not built by who stays late.
It’s built by who stays human.

Work can be important.
But life is not a side project.

The Strategy Most Brands Miss

Manyavar Mohey doesn’t position itself as just another ethnic wear brand.

Instead, as a go to choice for wedding shopping for men & women 

Over years, they’ve repeated the same signals:

This morning I was on a video call with a friend who had just returned to work after being sick for a few days.

He had an important project to submit. 
Naturally, he was a bit stressed.

We spoke for a while just by random conversation, laughing about things. Nothing about work.

About an hour after we disconnected, he called me again.

He said, "You know the bug I was stuck on? It suddenly clicked."

And then he added something interesting after our call. 
He felt lighter, in a good mood, and things just started making sense again.

It made me realize something simple.

Sometimes when we keep pushing through work while feeling drained.
But a small break can reset your mind in ways you don’t expect.

Maybe productivity isn’t always about working more.

Sometimes it’s just about giving your mind a moment to breathe.

And maybe workplaces should remember that too.

Luxury has very little to do with price.

Yes, you read that right.

If you’re simply trying to sell a product at a higher price
and wondering why it isn’t picking up…

this might be the reason.

Because luxury isn’t just about the product.

Hear me out.

Think about the last time you bought something expensive.

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind?

The product specs?

Or the moment?

It probably felt like a small reward to yourself.

And what you really loved
was the experience around it.

Take car deliveries for example.

Dealerships don’t just hand over the keys.

They put a ribbon on the car.
Take photos.
Sometimes even cut a small cake.

Because they understand something important.

Even before the product is on,

It lives in the experience around it.

And the brands that understand this

A spelling mistake just cost a brand a customer today.

I saw an ad for a comb (designed for curly hair) 

Good creative. Looked promising.

I clicked and went to their website.

While browsing the categories, I noticed something strange.

One category was written as: “HAIRS”

It instantly broke my trust.

Not because the product looked bad,  
but because the brand suddenly felt careless.

If something this basic is overlooked on the website, my mind starts wondering:

• Is the product quality reliable?  
• Are they equally careless elsewhere?  
• Is this brand even legit?

So I closed the tab.

No second thought. 

And they are spending aggressively on Ads :)

Sometimes the smallest details quietly decide the sale.
