Please, people of LinkedIn… I’m begging you, please. Just stop doing these things: 

• Offering me a job that requires relocation to a “cost-efficient” country just so you can pay me less than I already make. 
• Inviting me to an exploratory call for a role and then ghosting me like it never happened. 
• Sending connection requests only to pitch a product I’m not even the target audience for. 
• Asking me to complete an assignment, using the output for your own purposes, and then months later telling me you “moved forward with someone else.” 

Now, I finally understand why people started treating LinkedIn more as a cringe platform rather than a career platform. 

It is one big joke.

When I like my own posts, it’s not because I’m a narcissist or trying to boost the algorithm...

I do it because I want to be the first person to back myself, to build my own self-confidence.

It takes time – and a lot of self-likes – but if you don’t support yourself, who will?

STAND FOR YOURSELF!

One guy read 600,000 lines of code over 58 hours to understand the X algorithm. Some takeaways were:

👍 Video is king on the platform.
👎 Posting “offensive” text causes an 80% reach reduction.

👍 Time spent on a post (dwell time) is an important factor.
👎 Posting in all caps can negatively affect your reach.

But I shared way more in my weekly newsletter, e.g.:

• What not to do 
• What are the best days and hours for posting

Now I’m going to sound harsh, but maybe we all need to hear this at least once to improve ourselves: 

Your content isn’t successful, and it’s your fault. 
Your content su*ks. 

And now, seriously: 

It’s truly within your responsibility to clarify: 
– Who you’re creating content for (your target audience) 
– Where you’re publishing it (places where your audience can be found) 
– How you structure it (you need to speak the right language) 
– How to capture attention, and so on 

You are the one who must manage these things, or delegate them to someone competent. 

If your content repeatedly underperforms, it’s not just the algorithm’s fault. 
It reflects a gap in knowledge you haven’t mastered yet. 

Make sure you have multiple perspectives on your content strategy and work with the best people in the field. 

By the way, I’ve left some quite creative ad examples in the comments, so feel free to get inspired by TOP brands. 😉

I was approached for a collaboration by a company valued at over $2 billion, with more than $200M in annual revenue. Their offer sounded ridiculous: 

25% revenue payout from the affiliate for paid subscription conversions in a 7-day timeframe. 

Is it technically fair? 
Yes, it is BUT – there's a huge BUT. 

This is not how marketing works. 

⚠️ Affiliate partnerships work best when the promoter is a long-term user aligned with the product’s vision, making it easier to sell authentically to the audience. 

Otherwise, you end up promoting a company for free to an international community you’ve been building for over 3 years. 

If a company of this size cannot afford marketers who understand this core principle, I am quite concerned about their approach and practices.

If my LinkedIn DMs were a Spotify Wrapped, they wouldn’t look any different:

How to grow on social media faster without significant effort? I have one bad and one good news. The bad one: 

You can’t... 
You can’t simply grow without putting in the work. 

The good news: 
You can grow by taking certain steps every day. 

The steps to grow are: 
• post valuable content once a day (challenge: 2–3×) 
• actively comment posts from at least 5 large creators with high engagement 
• actively comment posts from smaller creators as well (also at least 5) 
• engage under your own posts and reply to every comment 
• add people to your network who interact with similar content + your ICP 

Additionally: 
• optimize your profile 
• tag people only when it adds context 
• collaborate with another creator on a joint post 
• publish a long-form article once a month (for better search visibility) 
• meet someone new (send 1–3 quality DMs a day) – even just a greeting 

TL;DR: Results come with effort. Start taking the right steps today.

What is the best way to validate a product? Many say, "By putting it behind a paywall." Eehh... not really. 

– How do you get an initial group of users who help build trust and reputation? 
– How do you get test users who give you feedback you can actually fix? 
– How can you improve the product without real feedback? 
– And how do you stay competitive without continuous improvements? 

I’m not saying everything should be free, but a trial version does have a purpose. 

It creates a space where the user builds a relationship with your product before you ask them for anything. 

And if the product is truly good, a trial isn’t a loss. 
It's the cheapest marketing you can afford. 

Example: 

I used CapCut for 3 for free. When they switched to a paid version, I didn’t feel like searching for a new tool and learning it from scratch, so I paid. If they had done that after a single trial week, they would’ve gotten nothing from me. 

TL;DR: Have trial versions.

How do you know you’re doing something exceptionally well? There are two major signs: 

1. People hate you 
2. People praise you 

The second one is especially powerful when a follower asks you about your process and tries to apply your steps to their own journey. 

⚠️ One of the best pieces of advice I’ve heard is this: 
"Don’t just follow successful people. Copy the exact steps they take." 

I try to live by this. I look up to experts who are the best in their field, mirror the actions they take, and still keep my own authenticity in the process. 

Every expert was once a beginner who followed someone else’s map. Now it’s your turn.

Why does it feel like you have to lie on your CV just to land a job? Well, it's maybe because 

Companies have wildly exaggerated expectations. 

They're literally looking for a Superman in Gotham City to rebuild it into Metropolis. 

They want: 
• someone who wears many hats 
• someone flexible and adaptable to constant change 
• someone who can move fast in a “fast-paced environment” 
• someone who takes ownership and thinks like a CEO 

Please. 😀

If someone truly has the mindset of a CEO, they’re not applying for a job. 

They’re building their own company. 

And what do companies offer in return? 
• a “competitive salary” 
• the classic “we’re a family” line 
• dynamic team 
• opportunity to make a real difference in the industry (OK, LOL)

Companies demand extreme specificity from people, but offer very abstract terms. 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A JOB WITHOUT FAKING OUR AUTHENTICITY AT ALL? 

Maybe the problem isn’t that candidates exaggerate. 
Maybe it’s that honesty no longer fits job descriptions. 

The best thing I could do was focus on myself, letting those "opportunities" go, and people started chasing me. 

Now I see why so many people choose to build their own businesses instead of bargaining their authenticity for vague offers. 

The end of the rage.

What did one month of consistent LinkedIn posting bring me? More than I hoped for, and I share the results happily with you (including the financial side). 😉 

Around mid-September, I started posting every single day (sometimes even twice a day). 

In October, I had a few short breaks, either due to health conditions or letting certain posts “trend” a bit longer. 

Still, despite those small pauses, my one month of consistent activity brought me (during October): 
• over 150K impressions 
• recognition from LinkedIn Top Voices and big creators (who started commenting on my posts) 
• 500+ new connections 
• 3 sponsors, with a total deal value of around $1.3K 
• 3 job offers (which I turned down, they just weren’t the right fit) 

All of this is possible on this platform. 

And I don’t even pay for LinkedIn Premium!

Transparent LinkedIn growth results

Did you know that if you want to appear more often in ChatGPT results, mentions of you should appear in certain media? Among them are: 

– Yahoo 
– Reuters 
– The Guardian 

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

There are over 20 other platforms that can help you become visible in the LLM results. And I’ve covered them all in the article I shared in the comments. 

Of course, I left other gems there. 😅

If you're a company and potential candidates aren't accepting your job offers, you're probably missing one of these:

The one and only: Your offer isn't better than what they already have, and your company's reputation isn't strong enough to make up for it.

Someone had to say that harsh truth. Sorry, not so sorry.

In the last quarter, I generated over 500,000 impressions on LinkedIn. I achieved this by taking a few specific steps, such as: 

1. Posting before lunch 
2. Actively commenting on three different levels 
3. Publishing specific types of content (MEMEs perform especially well) 
4. Connecting with people who interacted with my posts 
5. Doing everything consistently (every single day) 

Of course, many more tips helped me grow, and I’m sharing them in my latest article, which I’ve linked in the first comment. 

Read them quickly, because in a few hours the article will be locked to paid. 😃

Does cross-posting between X and LinkedIn actually work? Or should you adapt the content first? I’ve got this question and have an answer for you:

It depends. 😃 

Okay, now seriously. 

I don’t recommend literal cross-posting, and here’s why:
• Topics suited for LinkedIn may not be relevant for X. 
• People on LinkedIn and X communicate and express ideas differently.
• Certain formats aren’t supported on both platforms (for example, X doesn’t allow PDF documents or carousels). 
• X has a character limit unless you have a Premium account, so you’d need to adjust the wording anyway. 

Of course, there are always exceptions, for example, major trending topics that spread across both platforms. 

A good example is the Coldplay cheating couple. 

The situation became a global entertainment moment, but it also leaked into the professional space on LinkedIn because the cheating duo were well-known industry figures. 

Either way, even if you find a topic relevant for both platforms, I still recommend adapting your posts separately. 

TL;DR: Don’t cross-post blindly, customise your content.

Do you know which type of content will lose the game on LinkedIn in the long run? 

The one created by artificial intelligence. 

I’ve looked at several profiles where every post is copy-paste AI-generated content, and those posts don’t perform well. 

Why? 
• These “AI contributors” usually don’t build a community, actively comment, or create real dialogue. 
• AI content is inauthentic and impersonal – it only replicates. 
• It doesn't capture real experience or real lessons learned. 

Over time, synthetic AI content will become generic and run-of-the-mill. 

Take inspiration from people who create authentically, for example… 
Iuliia Shnai, Josie Geistfeld 👋, Michał Cieślak, Paulina Hryniewicz or Sandra Đajic, to name a few. 

TL;DR: Don’t overdo it with AI.

I won’t pretend that many people ask me this, because they don't: “What will marketing look like for influencers in 2026?” Here are some facts: 

– 67% marketers plan to boost their influencer budgets. 
– Instagram will remain the top platform for influencers.
– Short-form video will dominate content strategy. 

TL;DR: Become an influencer if you want to make money, money, money. 

And if you’re curious, check the first comment to see how LinkedIn will perform in 2026.

One of the most effective ways to grab attention and go viral is something many people are not daring to do: 

👉 Make a joke out of a pain point (caused by something or someone). 

Which can sometimes be personal, controversial, or even a little insulting. 

BUT 

People relate because they’ve felt the same frustration. 
So they understand the insider joke as it applies to them as well. 

The liquid glass for iOS is just one example. Others include:

– Designers being told, “Make it pop!” 
– LinkedIn showing the useless note: "Your profile appeared in search 91 times." 
– Trying to stay incognito on WhatsApp by deleting messages… but the other person still sees “Message deleted.” 

Turn shared annoyances into jokes, and suddenly your content resonates. 

TL;DR: Relatable pain = Humor = Engagement.

It is simple like that.

My post yesterday went viral. And the way I came up with such content is crazy. I did the absolute minimum: 

I just commented on a post by Justyn Lee the day before. 

That gave me the idea to create a standalone post from the comment. No image, just text… and it worked! (I tweaked it a bit.) 

So why could it have worked? Here are a few guesses: 
– People know LinkedIn and relate to receiving unsolicited pitches. 
– It created an inside joke. 
– I kept interacting with people under the post. 

As you can see, if a comment contains enough context and you validate it under someone else’s successful post, it can work as a fairly solid post on its own. 

TL;DR: Interact with people, it’s a source of inspiration.
