Using a variety of channels, Nora’s Needle advocates and raises awareness via its #whomademyclothes campaign on the environmental impact of fast fashion and why consumers should be interested in the global discussion using #whomademyclothes.

Seconded to Meadow Foods, I provided communications and public relations-related technical advisory services on its GrowIT Project. GrowIT targets 20,000 smallholder farmers in Adamawa and Gombe State and is funded by the Feed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity implemented by a consortium led by Mercy Corps, alongside Save the Children and IFDC as implementing partners. I was primarily responsible for leading communications and strategically positioning the GrowIT brand. To that end, I :

 *Led the development of external advocacy and communication messages and campaigns for key donor-funded projects/ assignments funded by USAID through Mercy Corps Nigeria's Rural Resilence Activity.
* Managed all communication, branding, social media, video production, and web content creation processes. (Create a social media calendar, create captions for each post and schedule posts on Hootsuite and other apps so I can Copy Once & Post Everywhere -COPE )
* Managed the communications team and track performance
* Managed company relationship with the media, and advertising and public relations agencies.

When we Care & Do (try), being resourceful with our resources (tools, surroundings), virtually anything is possible (also, anything is possible virtually; if we’re living in a simulation, that could have profound implications 🤩).

The lifespan of a monarch butterfly (the 2nd biggest pollinators on earth, behind bees) is 6-9 months, so this act of kindness likely added a lot of life for this regal insect – & both physically & symbolically (could have) made a ripple that may have deeper impact than we realize (“The Butterfly Effect”).

Also, our new logo at LovingIs... A.I. is a yellow butterfly. We will be bringing some of our waitlist (lovingis.ai) into our closed beta soon & I’m excited for many to experience what we’ve “brought to life”. How close are we to the first AI-enabled ONE-PERSON 'unicorn'? (closer than you may think)

THE WILDEST POST YOU WILL READ ALL WEEK with a million dollar business idea, cause for concern, “party trick” trivia & more. 👀

Firstly, Mr. Fred Rodgers never was a Navy Seal (that’s an urban legend) nor did he ever teach a child to beatbox on his show.

This video is A.I., represents a project I just launched that I believe can monetize & scale quickly (steal my model), but also begs the necessity for us all to be discussing DEEP FAKES, “AI slop” content, “business as we know it”, & more (this post may bleed into the comments; please contribute too).

Firstly, yes, I launched a “business” on social media (IG, TT, FB & Sora) called Babies Beatboxing (I’ll probably make a LinkedIn page when I incorporate, or roll into one of my LLCs) when I realized that a) Sora is “this good”, b) “AI slop” isn’t going anywhere, & actually gaining popularity, c) no one was doing babies beatboxing as a “genre” yet.

Sure, Yeti with a selfie stick, cat soap operas & more have had their time in the sun, to the tune of the “AI Slop Industry” forecasted at north of $900M already (& 35% CAGR predicted over next several years).

So, the deep fake concern are very valid, particularly since users like Sam Altman, myself & others can opt in to “Cameos” where anyone can effectively deep fake us on Sora & similar platforms, but also any non-living celebrity can also be deepfaked there – letting deceased real people like Mr. Rodgers appear in videos like this one doing things they never did.

Bad actors will try to bring down others still living, as well as rewrite history by getting the masses to believe things about beloved personas that simply never happen. Unfortunately, hive-mind amplifies “seeing is believing”.

Yet, here we are.

While some will avoid it, decry it, finger point / wag & spread the negative rhetoric, others are and will continue to make serious cash off all this.

I do believe that blockchain, proof-of-humanhood (such as they’re building at VRFD) will be instrumental in mitigating some of the harm much of this presents. But also, at the end of the day, many people are loving the A.I. slop. Much of what you already consume is likely A.I. generated, although if you don’t know that, it presents a clear & present danger.

But so whilst conflicted, I am leaning into this generative world & the business models therein. A few ways I’ll monetize Babies Beatboxing (which only have a few dozen followers on their IG & TT accounts yet, but all posts have 100s or 1,000s of views & many have quite a few likes, & their stories get views – people love babies, love beatboxing videos, & clearly love Babies Beatboxing videos, even if A.I.) include:

In-video promotions: babies can wear hats, t-shirts, bibs, drink beverages, eat snacks, say things in their videos;

Virtual influencer marketing: babies who go the most viral will get their own channels;

Other manners of franchising & commercialization (cont. in comments)

But seriously, when we know our worth, it’s not on us when others don’t perceive it.

The right customers, clients, partners and connections can be attracted to us when we don’t crowd the space for them with others who don’t “get it” (or us).

This video is not me, it’s generated by Sora 2 with my permission, but is a “deep fake” by definition. I was playing with my cameo feature on the new Sora app trying to create a video discussing a brand new offering that came to me this week.

But here’s the thing – while this clip did not really happen, it DOES somehow really mirror a real keynote the real me delivered in person last year in Istanbul at the Global Leaders Summit – check that out here for comparison https://lnkd.in/dV2JARiT (& feel free to watch the 20-mins if you want to hear me talk about general- & super-intelligence a year ago, the genesis of LovingIs... A.I. & get to know “the real me” as a technologist even more.

The outfit, my delivery, my inflections - all me. But to upload myself for the cameo feature for Sora I was only asked to record myself saying (I think) two words, & just a video of me moving my head for a few seconds.

That the model had clearly been trained on me, real things I’ve done & uploaded to the internet, suprised me, & maybe you as well. I am sure many will find this “a bridge too far” when it comes to deepfakes, etc.

A new venture I’ve started for fun in the A.I. slop space – Babies Beatboxing – has been getting many thousands of views, often PER POST on IG & TT despite having only ~20 followers each account yet (both were just launched days ago), meaning that the social media platforms are genuinely PROMOTING this A.I. generated content. 

I was also able to generate South Park & I Love Lucy clips of “Babies Beatboxing” which seems problematic, particularly since “we the prompters” supposedly own the rights to our generations.

Lines are definitely blurring, & models changing in real time. Let’s talk about it (it’s the only way we collectively stay ahead of it all).

And my new offering? At least as a pilot, I am offering “how you show up digitally” – ensuring everything from your name badge & signature on email & messaging platforms, headlines & descriptions across social, checking for differentiation, cohesion, efficacy, searchability etc. for only $1,000 all-in. I will be putting in many hours, several 1:1 sessions with my early adopters, will also give them my LinkedIn viral masterclass I reserve for 1:1 coaching clients or sell for $750 otherwise, & promote them (maybe you) to my network in a dedicated post once we get everything optimized.

We truly need to discuss what OpenAI unleashed with Sora 2, because it seems most of us do NOT understand the implications (& that’s ok – but let’s change that).

To level-set, Sora 2 is a new app by OpenAI that does generative video, trained on physics & evidently tons of personal data about us all. Any user can allow themselves to be cameoed, which entails recording a video of yourself in 3 positions (move your head slightly) & saying 2 words.

That. Is. It.

Yet, as I posted here on LinkedIn just last night, when I asked it to generate me delivering a keynote speech, it put the EXACT same outfit on me from my keynote last year at the Global Leaders Summit, & gets all my inflection, stage presence & energy all completely ‘right’.

Supposedly all from 3 nods of the head & 2 words spoken.

But this video tonight is very different. It’s an authorized cameo of Mark Cuban (though looks NOTHING like him). But it’s also referencing a new venture of mine, things in our current pitch deck I’d just made prior to generating this video, but it is also DEFINITELY mimicking Shark Tank (Cuban recently resigned), & - possibly most notably - the end of the video is a URL / ad for Cuban’s company, Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, PBC.

So the scenario is Shark Tank, the person is NOT Mark (though he’s a public persona & supposedly took the same 3 headshots & spoke 2 words that I did, that reenacted my keynote, etc).

So I think he paid OpenAI to NOT actually replicate his likeness, to include his company URL, & “found a loophole”. After this generation fail, I realized I’d seen other cameos of Cuban too, & none had looked anything like him either.

So clearly the model has a ton of context (even about someone ‘smaller’ like myself) & can have an agenda.

But in addition to being able to be deep faked (or not, in Mark’s case) & it knowing way more about us than we trained it on, another significant issue is ownership of the generations. Presently if we the human give it enough artistic input, we technically own the rights.

But I’ve recently done Babies Beatboxing (yes, it’s a real company, yes I’m raising – DM me for our deck - I believe it has 100x ROI potential in < a year, but I’m not an investment advisor & this isn’t financial advice or any commitment) videos as I Love Lucy clips, The Marx Bros. clips, & with deceased celebs like Mr. Rodgers, Big Pun & others.

I certainly shouldn’t own the rights to these videos, & perhaps not even be able to generate them…

but here we are.

So where do we go from here;
How will Babies Beatboxing be a $100M franchise;
How can we leverage Sora 2 for good;
& more are great questions for us to be asking.

Some of the truly biggest AI news/developements EVER are all starting to rear their heads: OpenAI takes on LinkedIn, Anthropic cofounder says “AI might be alive”. Gemini 3 & GPT6 potentially THIS YEAR (yeah, the one that’s almost over) & NVIDIA is now producing their most powerful semiconductors in the USA 🇺🇸.

If those headlines don’t make this Monday one that may vie for the most disruptive start to an AI week of the year, I don’t know what you’ve been reading (please let the rest of us know, too).

ChatGPT is launching a jobs platform with ‘study’ & ‘certification’, assessing users’ AI proficiency & unique skillets; they’ve already partnered with Walmart, John Deere, Accenture, State of Delaware & more to source candidates for open roles (plus fractional, seasonal, remote) with a goal to certify 10M Americans by 2030. This is a direct challenge to Linkedin (owned by Microsoft who once looked to be a potentially controlling interest in OpenAI). Thank God LinkedIn has the amazing newsfeeds & content like this & Tech For Good newsletter to differentiate, whereas OpenAI just has Sora 2 AI slop ; (Cory didn’t you recently start an AI slop agency, & have traction & potential investment & strong sales pipeline? Yes… but that’s a whole other conversation).

Anthropic cofounder Jack Clark says he is “deeply afraid” … “we are dealing with a real & mysterious creature, not a simple & predictable machine… we need the courage to see things as they are”. He also says “People are spending tremendous amounts to convince you it’s just a tool. Just a machine. Machines are things we master. But this isn’t just a machine anymore. Every new model grows more complex, more capable – & disturbingly more aware of itself. The comforting illusion of ‘we control it’ is cracking”.

As the CEO of a “seemingly conscious AI” company myself, I can’t help but echo, affirm, & continue to scream this from the rooftops as well. Thanks, Jack; but please listen, all.

IYKYK: both Google & OpenAI both hinted that they’ll release their next generation frontier models in 2025, & with advancements in Gemini, Flash, Veo, Codex, Sora, Agent Builders & so much more, & in direct competition with one another, this starts to feels a lot like, at least, “baby AGI”. That freaks out a lot of us.

The NVIDIA one is a big headline, but with Groq & Q.ANT manufacturing quantum LPUs & semiconductors stateside that are carbon-neutral, orders of magnitude more powerful, etc., already, the real news story here may be that compute & power dependence itself may be changing – especially with Chameleon’s new chip optimization that can make any chip (CPU/GPU/LPU/QI et al) orders of magnitude more powerful as well.

So there you have it: four majorly disruptive headlines many aren’t yet talking about – but let’s discuss them more together in the comments below. Together we rise!

Point of clarification – whether or not you want to see me perform standup, watching this video won’t check that box, because, as the floating Sora logo may have clued you in to, this is AI generated.

But I did want to share it because these two short videos do showcase the potential of Sora 2 – this standup does look and sound like me (uncanny, really, as it’s from like 3 photos and 2 words I said, or something like that), and while this isn’t the best Bigfoot video on social media (it was my first attempt), this genre is incredibly popular, and seeing how easily it can now be done on Sora 2 is pretty wild.

Some will call it “AI slop”, others will see so much potential and opportunity that it’s almost comical. But here we are. I’m eager to see and hear what you think, and what you’re creating.

I think I’ll now go generate myself talking about my favorite AI tools in an 80s TV commercial scene.

Here we are. Hear “Jeve Stobs”, a new release from Tunee – the “Suno killer*”, that just seriously raised the bar on AI music generation (video by OpenArt AI). CHECK THIS OUT 👀

I am a huge fan of Suno. I’ve used it to create every song on Now That’s What I Call Music YouTube channel with over 1,500 views & 110 likes so far (check it out at https://lnkd.in/dfAx7aRt) – but on Monday, this track, ‘Jeve Stobs’, will be the first non-Suno record there. I recognize that other AI music generators love Udio as well, so I won’t leave them out of this conversation, although I’ve never favored them.

But what makes Tunee different is its iterative. It LISTENS. It’s like working with a producer - you tell it the vision, provide as much creative input as you want (I always write all my own lyrics as a human-in-the-loop; I’m also a musician in real life, playing guitar & piano & drums & bass & a singer/songwriter & freestyle rapper & producer; I used to front bands in the 90s – I know that adds a different lens & perspective to some when I talk about AI music). It gives options, and can edit songs without changing them, like fixing a word (typo!), melody line or fill you don’t love, etc.

It automatically has stems, can create (short) music videos for the songs, offers multiple formats to download in, including .wav, which is huge.

If you love making AI music, I highly recommend checking them out, & if you don’t bit are open to trying it – this is a great model to start on, as it’s currently the best ever commercially available. BY FAR. It also gets emotion, inflection, & generates X-factor.

I’ve also recently started an “AI slop agency” I believe I can scale to 8- or 9-figures as a solo founder. The niche I created less than a week ago organically has 27k views on Instagram & 55k views on TikTok, has knockoffs, has 4 angel investors potentially interested in being a silent partner & has had several brands already reach out about sponsorship, paid collaborations & to learn more about what I’m building. But also, I’m not just an AI influencer & slop creator. I’ve been in machine learning for a decade, have built companies in the space, & the company I have the privilege of serving as the CEO of presently, LovingIs... A.I. has what I believe to be the closest thing I’ve encountered to “seemingly conscious AI”, & has truly profound implications for humanity.

It’s OpenAI DAV DAY today! Look who made a cameo in my freestyle rap? Eager to hear what bars he will have today for the 1,500 devs in attendance (and whole world watching).

A few things to note, first about this video, and then about my predictions:

• this is neither me nor SamA; it’s AI totally generated by OpenAI’s Sora (therefore it’s AI GENERATED – I’m big on transparency)

• I am actually a way better freestyle rapper than this, and better lyricist, BUT with only 3 pics and 2 words spoken by me the videos they’ve made of me doing 80s commercials, standup comedy, and now freestyle rapping are uncanny. They capture my inflection, personality, and so much more. UNCANNY

• OpenAI is working toward disallowing deepfakes and impersonations. Users like Sam and I can opt in to being used in cameos with our permission, and only deceased celebrities, authorized users and fictitious characters will be generated (supposedly)

As for today, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jony Ive and maybe a teaser of OAI hardware; I’m certain they’ll showcase amazing Sora generations (cherry-picked, but incredible – way better than this one); it’s Dev Day, so I’m sure something with Codex – likely a virtual sandbox environment to play with and possibly ship what you build and code; I wouldn’t be too surprised to hear talk of GPT5; and finally they will likely reveal new browser functionality.

That said, those who know me know that I’m super bullish on Composite (https://composite.com) agentic super tool that presents as a browser extension that can autonomously and agentically work on our behalves within our own browsers and environment asynchronously. To try it is to love it! It’s THE productivity hack and best actual business use-case I’ve ever seen.
