I lead the Container Platform team at Criteo, whose mission is to build a robust platform to run both internal and user-facing applications on the company on-premise bare-metal infrastructure. My focus is elevating the new Kubernetes-based platform to the level of its Mesos predecessor, while addressing new challenges like enhancing cloud connectivity or the support of stateful workloads. Container Platform team (in Infrastructure department) manages bare metal and self-hosted Mesos/Marathon and Kubernetes clusters around the world to provide high efficiency and low latency hosting solution to our internal users.

We solve scalability issues everyday, by designing technical solutions and patching open source software deployed in our 9 data centers. Currently our platform is hosting 52k production containers on our 18k Mesos workers and 4k Kubernetes agents. We always aim at better availability to provide a resilient support for internal applications but also production services.

We also provide several services through tooling written in Ruby & Python

Le service dans lequel j’ai évolué développe et intègre des produits de cybersécurité sous forme de S. I. complets (infrastructure, services systèmes, applicatifs back-end et front-end).
Mes missions m’ont permis de travailler différents aspects du métier d’ingénieur et d’être polyvalent (conception, développement, intégration et déploiement) :

    • Correction de bugs et développement d’évolutions dans un environnement temps contraint et distribué en C. Optimisation de portions critiques du code avec Valgrind/Callgrind
    • Proposition d’un cluster Corosync/pacemaker couplé à DRBD et RabbitMQ pour un renouvellement d’architecture d’un projet critique. Mise en place d’une preuve de concept et développement de la solution
    • Analyse de besoins des clients et propositions d’éléments d’architecture pour les solutions basées sur des microservices (Python Flask, Nginx, ElasticSearch, MongoDB)
    • Mise en place du packaging Debian pour l’intégralité des développements du service
    • Participation à la phase IVQ des projets : écriture et déroulement des plans de tests
    • Préparation des missions et installation sur site des projets France & export (Clonezilla, Ansible, Aptly), formation des clients
    • Mise en place d’un processus d’intégration pour un lot logiciel, inspiré par les méthodes agiles : déploiement d’une plateforme de pré-intégration (Debian, LXC, Qemu, GlusterFS) et mise en place de l’écosystème de déploiement de la plateforme (APTLY, Ansible, Jenkins) dans un but CI/CD
    • Intégration des logiciels dans l’écosystème S. I. complet riche en technologies (Elasticsearch, Kibana, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, LDAP, Nginx, Keepalived, Apache) et configuration de pare-feux (Fortinet) et de switchs (Dell/Cisco)

Dans le cadre d’un service d’étude amont et transverse, le stage consistait en l’étude de solutions de virtualisation open-source.

Ordissimo est une entreprise développant un système d'exploitation optimisé et simplifié pour personnes agées. Afin d'étoffer le panel d'applications sur le 'store' interne à Ordissimo, deux missions m'ont été confiées:
- Développement d'une application de météo
- Développement d'un jeu de scrabble multijoueur (avec IA optionnelle)

Afin de mener à bien ces deux objectifs:
- Développement d’applications et scripts autour de l’OS Ordissimo développé par cette société. 
- Développement en C ANSI d’applications utilisant les EFL.
- Utilisation de Doxygen et LaTeX pour la documentation
- Gestionnaire de build : autotools pour la génération de projets Debian.
