Digital Marketing Manager

As digital account manager I am working to continually improve and expand Peter Vardy's use of online and digital marketing to make it the best in the motor industry.

The role is demanding and highly varied, working with the BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Porsche, Land Rover and Vauxhall brands. I am responsible for the groups Online marketing campaigns, PPC Account, Social media activity, Directing and shooting of adverts, Online marketing budget, Research and development of IT solutions - including a new eCommerce platform, Reporting and analysis of statistics.

Day-to-day I run seven websites, both internal and external, with a combined total of 100,000+ visits per month. We do the majority of the work in house, but I do also work closely with a number of external agencies for larger pieces of development work.

E-commerce is an area which I am currently working on a number of developments - Launching three highly profitable eBay shops throughout 2012/13 and most recently a bespoke on-line service booking platform which I hope begins to challenge and change the behaviour of our customers.

I am trained in Google Adwords PPC and SEO which has allowed us to bring these operations fully in-house, resulting in better all-round control of our digital marketing strategy.
