The most important business relationship of my life started with a terrible golf swing. Here’s how.

It all goes back to a round of golf where I spent more time in the rough than on the fairway.

If you've ever played golf, you know the rough is where the game humbles you. It's also weirdly where the best conversations happen. Because you stop caring about the score and just start talking.

That day, I was paired with someone I'd never met before, Dhiraj Jain. We started with the usual small talk, but somewhere between the 4th and 5th hole, the conversation shifted to AI. 

Why adoption is broken. Why do companies invest in tools, and nothing moves. And why training ends with a certificate and zero change.

I had no idea Dhiraj was the Co-Founder and CEO of DotKonnekt, an AI-first services firm with 40 people doing serious enterprise AI work. 

He had no idea I'd been doing the same thing from the training side, working with teams on the ground across India and Dubai.

The more we talked, the more it felt like we'd been working on the same problem from two different sides without ever knowing it.

Then one conversation led to another, and we ended up with one simple question, “What if we did this together?”

Just like that, three months later, Humaine Labs was born.

Razorpay just gave Claude the power to buy your groceries. And India might be the first country where this goes live.

This happened at the recent India AI Impact Summit 2026. 

You've probably already used Razorpay, a platform built by IIT Roorkee alumni Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur, without even knowing it. They power payments for millions of businesses in India.

They made two big announcements.

First - a partnership with Replit, a global platform where developers build apps using AI. Now any app built on Replit can plug in Razorpay payments from day one. 

Second - they partnered with National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI), the organization behind UPI, to bring agentic payments to Claude. Starting with Zomato, Swiggy, and Zepto.

That means you can tell AI what you want - and it'll find it, order it, and pay for it. Without you leaving the chat.
I know this sounds futuristic, but it’s already happening.

Recently, Neil Agarwal, a Bangalore-based founder, connected an AI agent to Swiggy. He just said what he wanted to eat. The AI found the restaurant, placed the order, and completed the UPI payment on its own.

That’s exactly the direction Razorpay is now formalising at scale.

Here's what I think every business leader should take from this:

→ AI just went from giving suggestions to getting things done. That's a big shift.

→ If AI can order your food and pay for that, it can handle purchase orders, vendor payments, and daily operations in your company too.

→ The biggest worry was always trust. That's now handled. Users set spending limits, see every transaction, and can switch it off anytime.

AI is slowly becoming core to how businesses run. The next step is building it into your operations, not just testing it on the side.

If AI could execute one real task inside your company tomorrow, what would you automate first?

Mahindra Group increased plant output by 15% using AI. The people who did it never wrote a single line of code.

They run across auto, tech, finance, and agriculture. 260,000 employees from completely different roles and completely different realities.

At this scale, one AI workshop for everyone is just noise.

Here is what actually worked:
→ Anish Shah set the tone from the top. Leaders had to become tech leaders themselves. No consultant can do that for you.
→ The real use cases didn't come from IT. They came from process owners who understood the factory floor inside out. 
→ Role-specific training isn't a nice-to-have. A plant supervisor and a CFO need completely different entry points into AI.

That is how factory plant uptime went up by 10-15%. Not because of better tools or a bigger budget. People who knew their work well enough to connect it with AI.

This is where most large companies get it wrong. They treat AI adoption as an L&D project. They run a session, tick the box, and move on.

At this scale, it stops being a training problem. It becomes an org design problem wearing a different hat.

The companies that figure this out early won't just adopt AI faster. They will pull so far ahead that others won't be able to catch up. 

Which stage is your company at? Awareness. Training. Or actual adoption?

India's AI talent pool is expected to double from 650,000 to 1.25 million by 2027. 
This sounds impressive. Until you realize that India produces 1.5 million engineers, but very few land a job. 

The recent India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi made this very clear. 

Every major tech leader from Google to OpenAI and Anthropic showed up because they all need people. The ones who can build AI apps, deploy them, and make them actually work inside businesses.

India has those people. So, the demand is there. But the readiness is not.

We are a people-intensive country. That has always been our edge. We turned it into a $280 billion IT services industry. Now the game has changed.

The world needs people who can embed AI into real workflows. Build AI apps for real businesses. Solve problems that tools alone cannot solve.

India can go from building software for the world to building AI applications for the world. But that shift will not come from YouTube tutorials and certificate courses. Here’s something really important: 

📌 The gap is not information. It is a capability. Every leader at the summit said that the real bottleneck is not AI tools. It is the people who know how to use them.

📌 India does not need more AI awareness. It needs AI fluency at scale. AI has to reach the manager, the analyst, and the team lead. Not just the CTO.

📌 The biggest risk is not AI taking jobs. It is an AI divide. Where some people leap ahead, and millions get left behind. The only way that gap can be closed is through trained, capable people. 

No other country has this combination - the people, the hunger, and the engineering DNA to pull this off. The question is, are we preparing them for what’s coming next?

I never planned to be an AI evangelist. But 12 cohorts, 50+ enterprise trainings, and 1500 professionals later, I can’t imagine doing anything else. 

Honestly, it wasn't a calculated move at all. It started with people in my network asking the same thing - " Can you show me how you actually use AI?"

So, I put together a small session with 25 people in a room. VPs, founders, and senior professionals, with just a 5-week module on how I was using AI every day.

I charged what it was worth, and people signed up because they were tired of surface-level workshops where you watch a few demos, get a certificate, and go back to doing everything the same way.

After my sessions, people walked out and actually changed how they worked. 

The next batch filled up through word of mouth. Then, enterprises started calling. Marico. Axis Bank. Capgemini. Landmark Group. One room in India turned into training across multiple countries.

Turns out, you don't need a go-to-market strategy when people actually walk away better at their jobs.

In 1913, a French professor discovered why big teams make lazy people. In 2025, AI finally gave us the fix.

Ringelmann ran a simple experiment. He asked people to pull a rope. Alone, each person gave 100%. In a group of 8, that effort dropped to barely 50%. 

It happened because when everyone is responsible, nobody feels fully responsible. Effort gets shared, accountability gets diluted.

More people, less effort per person. Researchers later called it social loafing.

Sounds familiar, right?

Bezos understood this better than most. His rule at Amazon was straightforward. If 2 pizzas can't feed the whole team, the team is too big. Keep it small, move fast, and make sure everyone owns their work.

It worked. Amazon became a $2 trillion company on the back of small, focused teams.

Now, AI is pushing this even further.

One person with the right workflow can now do what used to take a full team:

→ Drafts, decks, and analysis ready before the meeting
→ Repetitive work handled without thinking twice

This isn't about replacing teams. It's about what becomes possible when one focused person has real leverage.

A good marketer with the right AI workflow doesn't stay good. They become exceptional.

Most people haven't realised this yet. That gap is the opportunity.

I’ve met leaders across 6 countries who’ve spent huge amounts on AI. But when I ask their teams who actually uses it daily, the room goes silent.

I've seen exactly this in every training room I've walked into:

📍The senior leaders won't touch AI because they're afraid of looking stupid in front of their own teams. 
📍Mid-level managers want to experiment, but nobody's told them it's okay to. 
📍The junior folks are quietly using ChatGPT on their phones but won't bring it up because the company hasn't even decided if that's allowed.

Even Fortune 500s, large conglomerates, and consulting giants go through the exact same struggle.

Most try to fix it with a 2-hour webinar or a certificate after a multiple-choice test. Then wonder why nothing changed. But what actually works is far simpler.

 👉Pick one workflow your team does every week. Let them try doing it with AI. 

The first attempt won't be perfect. But once someone cuts a half-day task down to 30 minutes, you'll never have to convince them again.

The enterprises pulling ahead right now didn't buy better tools than everyone else. They just invested in changing how their people actually work.

If your teams have access to AI but the output hasn't changed, the problem isn't the software. It's everything around it.

What's the biggest resistance you've seen in your org when it comes to using AI?

If AI has gone mainstream, why have 6.8 billion people never opened a chatbot?

Damian Player, the mind behind Agent Integrator and one of AI's sharpest voices, created a chart that puts this in perspective through his latest visual.

Let me explain.

He mapped all 8.1 billion humans on a single grid. Each dot = 3.2 million people.

The 84% in the grey dot have never used AI. 
The 16% in the green dots have tried a free chatbot. 
The 0.3% in the yellow dots are paying $20/month. 
The 0.04% in the red dots are using coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code.

If you're reading this, you're probably yellow or red. Your entire perception of how mainstream AI is comes from a bubble that's almost invisible on that chart. 

You have a ChatGPT subscription. Maybe Copilot, too. You've tried Claude, Perplexity, maybe even Cursor, and you assume everyone around you is doing the same. 

Vikas Sabbi, a builder and technologist, said it best: "You're not disrupting the world. You're disrupting a group chat."But here's what stopped me cold.

16% AI usage today is where the internet was in 2005. And the entire AI wave is still ahead of us. But having done 50+ enterprise trainings across India, Dubai, and Vietnam with global brands, here’s what I see:

→ Leadership knows AI matters 
→ Teams can't move past demos and tutorials 
→ Nobody knows how to use it in their actual Monday morning workflow 

So, the gap isn't awareness. Its capability. And that gap won't close with certifications. It closes role by role, workflow by workflow.

Right now, the AI conversation feels saturated, but the actual market? Wide open.

Stop asking: "How do I stay ahead?"

Start asking: "How do I get into those red dots?"

Every once in a while, a workshop stops feeling like a workshop. That happened this week during our session at Marico SEA, Vietnam.  

I've seen it maybe a handful of times, and it always catches me off guard - a shift in the room, where people stop being polite participants and start being genuinely invested.

This week, it showed up as a single change in question. "Which tool should we try?" became "How does this actually fit into the way we work?"

I know that sounds like a simple question, but most AI sessions never get here.

They stay at the surface - tool demos, prompt tricks, a few wow moments. This one didn't.

By the second half of the session, nobody was asking about tools anymore. 

They were asking about their campaigns, their workflows, their actual Monday morning problems. That's a completely different headspace. 

This is what real AI adoption looks like. Not a certification or a workshop selfie. Just a team deciding that the way they work is worth improving.

This founder just replaced a paid app in 15 minutes. Without writing a single line of code. If you lead teams at an enterprise, pay attention. 

Nadia Privalikhina had 6 years of Kindle highlights sitting inside Amazon. 

Hundreds of books' worth of notes and ideas she couldn't access outside the app. So she went looking for a solution. The apps that worked wanted $5/month. But the free alternatives crashed right when it mattered.

So she asked Claude Code to handle it. It opened a browser, logged into her Amazon account, extracted every single highlight, organized them into files, and turned the whole thing into a repeatable workflow - all in 15 minutes.

After 50+ enterprise AI sessions, the pattern is hard to ignore: companies spend months picking the right tool while a trained employee could've just built the solution. 

Not every time. But often enough to matter.

The better question isn't "which tool do we buy?" It's "what can our people build if we just show them how?"

Enterprise leaders: Are you investing more in tools or in your team’s ability to build with AI?

“The AI keeps giving different answers,” is the complaint I hear most from enterprise teams. But AI isn't the problem. Your workflow is. 

Most enterprises are engineered around one assumption: if you follow the process, you get the outcome. Always. 

That's how audits pass, SLAs get met, and operations don't collapse under their own weight.

However, GenAI is probabilistic at its core. Ask the same question twice, and you might get two different answers. That's not a flaw. That's how it's built. 

It interprets, infers, and generates. It doesn't follow rules; it estimates answers based on patterns.

So when you plug a probabilistic tool directly into a deterministic workflow, the system underdelivers. The AI ‘hallucinates.’ Teams lose trust. And leadership calls it a failed experiment.

The technology wasn't wrong. The architecture was.

Companies seeing real results from AI right now aren't replacing their workflows with AI. They're wrapping AI around them.

AI reads the complaint, extracts the intent, and hands it to the workflow. The workflow routes it. No guessing. No variation.

That's what happens when you stop asking AI to run the process and start using it to feed the process.

Knowing the tool is 10%. Knowing where it fits is the other 90%.

AI works beautifully in a demo. But as soon as you hand it to a real team with real deadlines, it falls apart.

42% of companies abandoned most of their AI projects last year. Up from 17% the year before. The money is going in, but the results are not coming out.

I have seen this play out every single time I walk into an enterprise training. And it is not just me saying this. 

Stanford, Google DeepMind, and the University of Illinois are actively researching why this happens.

Here’s what they have found: 

Current AI systems can do tasks. But they cannot learn from their own mistakes. 

Engineers fix this manually. They tweak prompts, rewrite instructions, and add more examples. It works for a bit. Then something else breaks.

The tool is not the problem. The gap between installing AI and actually embedding it into how teams work is where everything falls apart.

Every enterprise I have worked with has the same story. The pilot looks great. The boardroom is excited. But on the ground, teams go back to doing things the old way.

📌 AI adoption does not fail because of bad tools. It fails because teams are not trained to make those tools work inside real workflows. 

📌 The companies getting results are not using better tools. They are building better capability around the tools they already have.

📌 There is a big difference between using AI and working with AI. One looks good in a demo. The other actually changes how your business runs.

The tools will keep getting smarter. The real question is whether your teams are keeping up.

The latest Anthropic research sounds like good news. Until you see that hiring of workers aged 22 to 25 into AI-exposed roles has dropped 14% since 2024.

AI hasn't caused the job crisis everyone predicted. But these numbers stopped me cold.

Not because companies are shrinking. But because AI is quietly doing what entry-level talent used to do - the first drafts, the data entry, the research, and the grunt work that was once how young professionals learned the ropes.

Now here's what makes this uncomfortable. 

The most AI-exposed roles aren't low-skill jobs. They're held by people who are more educated, higher paid, and in white-collar professions - coding, customer service, financial analysis, and content work. These are the very jobs that fresh graduates have spent years training for.

So the disruption isn't loud. There's no mass exodus. No dramatic headline.

It's actually quieter. Fewer entry points. Slower career starts. A generation building skills for roles that are already being restructured around them.

I work with enterprise teams all the time. And I see that most organizations haven't thought about this at all. They're focused on tools, budgets, and pilots. 
Not on what this means for the people coming in, or the ones already inside who haven't been upskilled.

The research gives you the data. The real question is what you do with it.

↳Notion now lets you summarize docs, change tone, and brainstorm ideas. All inside the workspace you're already using.

↳Figma now lets you generate first drafts of interfaces, explore layouts, and even build multi-step workflows that run on their own.

These tools brought AI to people who would have never gone looking for it on their own, and gave us access.

However, what's still missing for most people is the ability to make it work for their specific role, their specific problem, their specific workflow. 

AI amplifies your strength. But if there's a gap in how you think, how you brief, how you evaluate, it amplifies that gap too.

Watching the T20 World Cup Final today, something interesting caught my attention - not just the cricket, but the ads.

Both ChatGPT and Gemini were running commercials, and what stood out wasn’t flashy tech jargon. Instead, they showed very simple, everyday use cases:

• Someone exploring a business idea  
• Someone asking for guidance before making a decision  
• Someone getting fashion suggestions  
• Someone improving their sports training  
• Someone learning something new in minutes  

In other words, AI wasn’t being positioned as “technology”. It was being positioned as a daily companion for thinking better and doing better.

This is a subtle but important shift.

For years, technology ads focused on features: faster processors, more storage, better software.

AI ads are different. They focus on possibilities.

And that tells us something important about where we are in the adoption curve.

The future everyone talks about isn’t some distant sci-fi moment anymore.  
It’s already quietly shaping the lives of early adopters - helping them think faster, learn quicker, experiment more, and build ideas with almost zero friction.

Today it’s the curious and the builders.

Soon it will be everyone.

Just like the internet.  
Just like smartphones.

The future isn’t coming.

It’s already here, just unevenly distributed.
