I stopped using Apollo last week. Here's why.


soo I ran the same exact lead search on Apollo, Clay, and Prospeo.io.
results? Apollo: 2,557 validated emails. Clay: 1,653. Prospeo.io: 4,739. what???

Same filters. Same ICP. Middle East SaaS founders

Well here's the thing nobody talks about:
Data quality in outbound is a margin game.

—> Bad data = bounces 
—> Bounces = domain burn 
—> Domain burn = new domains, new warmup, 3 weeks lost 
—> 3 weeks lost = client churn

This is why I've been obsessed with finding the cleanest data source for the last 2 years. And with my itch being finally seeming to satisfy now as I found Prospeo.io (note this is not sponsored).

I just spent 2 weeks in their beta, compared it against every tool my network of GTMEs uses regularly, and the results weren't even close 😂

The filters are literally insane forcing me to think of new campaigns for clients on spot:
—> Email provider (can filter by Google vs Microsoft)
—> Department growth (can find teams actively hiring)
—> Headcount growth by department, etc etc

But filters don't matter if data is like garbage - I’d say they outperformed others specifically since their data quality is HONESTLY so so good.

For Emails their leads are:
→ Triple verified (SMTP + real send outcomes + BounceBan (Verify risky emails without sending messages)) 
→ Spam traps and honeypots filtered out 
→ Catch alls cleaned through their own system 
→ fckin ~98% deliverability on verified emails 
→ Refreshed every 7 days (where industry average is 60-90 ☠️)

Mobile leads?
→ again Triple checked (w carrier validation + person level matching + call tested) 
→ 80% crowdsourced data (where industry average is 20%) 
→ 1 in 3 calls pickup rate in real campaigns - compared to Apollo’s 1 in 1k ish ☠️

So like you really don't need to run emails through MillionVerifier after, or don't need to waterfall 6 providers in Clay - just... use the damn data lol 💀

What does this mean for your workflow - now you’ll ask?

Just find your leads from their accurate lead finder and push it directly to HubSpot/EmailBison damn 👀

I'm not saying Clay is dead and bs. All I'm saying is for 80% of use cases, most people just won't need it anymore.

When something works this well - Nish basically has to talk about it.
