Nimrod Malinas

This week I had the honor to participate at the IMD KI Update 2026 in THE HALL, one of the most professional AI events I have attended so far.

I spoke about a point that often gets underestimated when companies implement robotics or AI. These technologies fundamentally change how value is created inside an organization.

That makes AI and robotics a strategic topic.
And strategic topics belong to leadership.

This is not an IT department project.
It is not something to be delegated and reviewed later. Every serious AI or robotics implementation reshapes processes, roles, decision making, and culture. 

That requires direct involvement from leaders.

I also shared stories from the field. 

Over the past five years, we have implemented robots for the first time in many companies. 
I have seen projects fail. 
I have seen others succeed remarkably well. 
The difference was rarely the technology. 
It was leadership, ownership, and clarity.

What made this event special was the audience. Many CEOs and decision makers in one room, openly discussing where we are right now as an economy and as a society.

I strongly believe that if we understand the moment in history we are standing in, we can use technology, AI, and robotics to build something meaningful for the future.

Grateful for the conversations, the feedback, and the openness in the room.

This podcast with me reached over 37K views in less than 3 months. That’s how I did it and what I’ve learned about personal branding.

In the last years, I struggled a lot with personal branding until I understood these 4 essential things that fueled my success and raised my visibility throughout Europe, from Forbes Magazine all the way to major TV shows.

This post will take approximately 2.4 minutes to read. 
I can guarantee that you will be well rewarded for your 2.4 minutes of reading. 

1. Stop focusing on the numbers.

You got only 200 views and 2 likes on your first LinkedIn posts? Good. Guess what.
200 people saw what you wrote, and even with the worst content, you still had the attention of at least 10 to 20 percent of them.
2 even clicked like.
10 percent of 200 is still way more than 0.
Keep going. Keep exploring.

2. Don’t split authenticity from relevance.

While authenticity is the only way you should create content, don’t forget relevance.
Is what you’re trying to say truly relevant for your audience?
Could a 12 year old understand your content as well?
Is the message you’re trying to write worth sharing?

3. Be professional with the creatives.

Ask ChatGPT. Do a crash course on editing.
Ugly pictures, blurry videos, or an unprofessional appearance are not hooks strong enough to make someone stop and click on “read more” or play the video.
If the picture is ugly, the content is probably messy as well.
Why should I put my time into reading it?

4. When people interact, it means:

I am having the exact same thoughts or experiences, but this content is put into the perfect words.
The algorithm recognizes that fast.
It pushes your content.
The right audience sees it.
You’re in the spotlight and can share your message with the world.

You probably won’t get to 37K views on your first podcast.
It took me 5 years to get here.
Other people get to millions in days.
I feel small watching them.
You probably feel small watching me.

Just keep going.
Share a message worth sharing with the world.
Spend some time learning how to share it.
Copywriting, editing, you can learn anything in a few days nowadays.

Imagine the 200 people physically in a room.
Write from your heart.
Keep going.
Make this world a better place.

Warum Roboterprojekte bei Lock GmbH so gut funktionieren:

Joachim Wiedergrün und sein Team von Lock GmbH  haben etwas geschafft, woran viele deutlich größere Unternehmen scheitern.

Nicht, weil sie mehr Budget hatten.
Nicht, weil sie bessere Roboter hatten.

Sondern weil sie Robotik als das verstanden haben, was sie wirklich ist: eine Führungsaufgabe.

Heute sind bei Lock über 95 Prozent des Lackierprozesses vollständig robotisiert. Zwei Roboter betreiben zwei Kabinen vollautomatisch. 

Früher waren dafür mehrere Lackierer pro Schicht nötig. Manuell wäre diese Menge und Qualität heute weder realistisch noch gewollt.

Der entscheidende Punkt liegt aber nicht in der Technik.

Der Wendepunkt kam, als klar wurde:
Ein Roboter ist kein neues Werkzeug.
Er verändert Abläufe, Rollen, Verantwortung und Wertschöpfung.

Deshalb wurde das Projekt nicht an eine Abteilung delegiert.
Der Betriebsleiter ist persönlich in das Projekt gegangen.
Operativ. 
Nah am Team. 
Nah an den Entscheidungen.

Genau hier scheitern viele erste Roboterprojekte.
Die Technik ist da. 
Die Herausforderungen sind bekannt.
Aber die Führung bleibt zu weit weg.

Lock hat es anders gemacht.
Und genau deshalb funktioniert es.

Seit Jahren sehen wir, wie sich dieses Unternehmen entwickelt.
Klare Prozesse. 
Saubere Umsetzung. 
Starkes Teamgefühl.
Auch große Industrieunternehmen waren vor Ort und beeindruckt.

Für mich ist Lock ein Beispiel dafür, wie KMUs Robotik richtig angehen können.
Nicht durch Perfektion.
Sondern durch Verantwortung, Nähe und Führung.

Wer Robotik einführen will, muss zuerst selbst ins Projekt gehen.
Alles andere ist Wunschdenken und wird nicht optimal umgesetzt.
