De stichting is in 2001 opgericht en heeft als doelstelling het organiseren én financieren van onafhankelijke award-verkiezingen voor de branche. In 2017 heeft de stichting een naamswijziging ondergaan. De stichting is toen omgegaan van Thuiswinkel Awards naar Shopping Awards.

E-Business Managers Platform

When in 2007 an interesting group of E-Business executives gathered to discuss (some of) the key challenges they face, the need was identified to share more knowledge and experiences within the E-Business community and learn from each other. 

To facilitate this, the 'E-Business Managers Platform' (EBMP) was created by Gijsbert van der Sleen. The target audiences are E-Business executives and managers with a primary responsibility for driving E-Business strategy and implementation within large organizations. Either as E-Business department responsible or E-Business channel responsible. 
The 'E-Business Managers Platform' now has 300+ members (2013). We host a number of expert Roundtables in order to share knowledge and learn from each others experiences.
