As a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner at Royal Caribbean Group, I am passionate about helping people find the next piece of the puzzle in their career journey. I lead the recruitment for leadership roles in various business groups, such as HR, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, IT, Medical, and Newbuild. I leverage data analytics, employer branding, and diversity and inclusion strategies to attract and retain top talent in the cruise industry. 

I hold a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida, where I also completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have also obtained a Certificate of HR Data Analytics from Cornell University and participated in business and Spanish exchange programs at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and Universidad de Salamanca. I am fluent in English and Spanish and have a Bloomberg Certification and a Certified Gator Professional credential.

Engagement #1: Reducing the food wastage of a national food bank by up to 17% through a dehydration facility 
• Analyzed volume of monthly food intake relative to operational space and processing labour to identify current inefficient preservation methods
• Holistically assessed all options against strategic factors including license requirement, relative time/cost efficiency, and potential synergies 
• Presented 2 acquisition models with forecasted costs and MoM savings: incremental and lump-sum

Engagement #2: Working with a large environment-focused NFP to attract applicants for new Initiative 
• Clearly defined application requirements (i.e., what an 'artist' is, and what an appropriate submission looks like)

Sahil's role consisted of communicating club events to the Freshman class, assisting with the organization of case competitions and conferences, reaching out to prospective corporate sponsors and perhaps most notably, securing donations for a variety of charitable institutions (e.g., the University Health Network - UHN, Plan International, Make-A-Wish, etc.).

Sahil is a conscientious, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who truly believes that our lives are only complete when we offer ourselves in service to those in need. As a consequence of this belief, he is pursuing the Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) program, at the Schulich School of Business. He is eager to explore the various facets of commerce and understand how they can be used to create and nurture ethically responsible businesses, as well as address societal issues such as climate change and scarcity. 

Although his future career plans remain uncertain, he is interested in combining the perspectives of strategy and operations to deliver tangible impact. Accordingly, he intends to work at an organization that takes a firm stance against the corporate status quo – challenging partnering institutions to implement strategies that benefit their supply chain, while continuing to secure growth.
