12 Lessons From $20,000,000 in Writing Course Sales

I paid Alex Hormozi's team $35,000 to help me scale to $1,000,000. 

And I just got back from their workshop in Vegas.

For the better part of 2 years now, we've been stuck trying to hit this goal.

But I emerged with extreme clarity on what to tackle this year.

Here are the 5 "Big Rocks" they said I should work on right now:

1. Clean up your org structure before it cleans you out

Our team nearly tripled in size this past year.

And it wasn't until the Hormozi team walked me through what a healthy org at our revenue level actually looks like that I realized how blurry our lines of ownership had gotten.

3. Build a media team that can actually scale your content

I'm making a significant investment in YouTube and media in 2026.

And I had a lot of unanswered questions about what that actually looks like:

• How many editors do you need?
• Do you separate short-form and long-form?
• Does one person own each platform?
• Does one person own each channel?

The Hormozi team helped me find the clarity I was looking for.

Basically, we have about 70% of the team we need.

And the move is to break out individual platforms and give each one a dedicated owner.

4. Follow up with leads in 15 minutes or less, every time

The Hormozi team made it very clear how much revenue we're leaving on the table every time we don't.

The big rock for my co-founder @dickiebush will be building the outbound infrastructure to make near-instant follow-up the default.

5. Stop asking "what's next?"

Instead, start asking:

"What's working and why aren't we doing more of it?"

This one hit hardest.

At the end of 2025, we ran our first paid 3-day challenge and it turned into our biggest revenue month of the year.

So when the Hormozi team asked us:

"If one challenge did that, why are you only doing one a year?"

The answer was obvious.

Do more live webinars and challenges.

But all of this just makes one thing even clearer for me:

Our business is NOT the right type of business for 99% of people to go build.

7 No-Code Tools Running My 7-Figure Writing Business

Je travaille sur un problème simple et pourtant mal traité dans la plupart des entreprises :
Comment élever durablement le niveau managérial sans épuiser les équipes RH.

L’excellence managériale n’est pas qu’un sujet de managers.
C’est un sujet central pour les DRH, la structuration des organisations et la santé globale de l’entreprise.

Des managers de haut niveau :

→ désengorgent les équipes RH
→ augmentent l'engagement salarié
→ font performer durablement les équipes

C'est une RH qui a gagné Koh-Lanta 2024
Normal l'épreuve des poteaux c'est moins dur que le job RH de : 

→ Faire la psy pour tout le monde tout le temps
→ Faire le boulot d'une équipe de 5 avec ses 5 doigts
→ Courir après tout le monde pour les revue de mi année
→ Devoir résoudre les conflits de TOUTES les équipes
→ Faire respecter la charte de télétravail à tout le monde
→ Devoir antidater des périodes d'essai sous la contrainte
→ Devoir virer des gens A LA PLACE des managers lâches
→ Expliquer que non on ne te DOIT pas une Rupture Co...
→ Devoir expliquer pourquoi y'a pas d'augment' cette année
→ La question "t'as 5mn pour un truc?" (ça dure jamais 5 mn)
→ Répondre une fois de plus à "À quand la semaine de 4 jours"
→ Dire pourquoi un SIRH est obligatoire et non Excel suffit pas
→ Devoir expliquer pourquoi 2 alternants égalent pas un senior
→ Recruter des "A-Players" quand le package proposé est naze

Normal que ce soit Léa la RH qui ait gagné Koh-Lanta
C'est des guerrieres et des guerriers les RH 🫡

En plus elle n'a trahi personne
Et elle était aimée de tous les autres

Et ce "non X" qui a toutes les compétences ? Ignoré ?
Nous reconnaissons tous l'agaçant élitisme à la française

𝟐- 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞́ 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞 :

Quand on pense poste on recrute surtout en externe
Quand on pense compétence on est beaucoup plus fin
On identifie ceux qui ont 90% de ce qui est demandé 
Et on les forme pour qu'ils acquièrent les 10% restant

𝟑- 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥'𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 :

Quel est l'état des compétences de votre entreprise ? 
Quels métiers seront rendus obsolète par l'IA chez vous ? 
Sur quelles compétences doit-on les former pour éviter ça ? 
Sans une "skill based organisation" vous êtes aveugles

90% des RH a qui je parle sont épuisés
Si vous n'êtes pas RH : voilà ce qui se joue dans l'ombre

1- Métier passion ce qui rajoute à la fatigue

Je ne connais aucun RH qui bacle son job
Aucun RH qui n'en n'a rien à faire des gens
C'est d'autant plus dur de ne pas se faire avaler tout cru

2- Des moyens souvent sous-dimensionnés

Ce n'est pas toujours le cas mais la frugalité est la norme
On fait ce qu'on peut avec une petite équipe & 0 budget
Devinez qui compense en travaillant toujours plus ? 

3- La pression sur le business devient la pression RH 

En ce moment l'économie est fragile et les business saignent
Dans 100% des cas cela va avoir une conséquence RH
PSE. Quête de rentabilité. Pression sur les formations

4- La dette mentale du retard pris sur les sujets IA

Nous sommes absolument tous en retard sur l'IA
Sauf que quand on est RH c'est encore pire
L'IA est un sujet central du monde du travail
Et 99% des RH sont accaparés par le run

5- L'impression de devoir se battre sur tout

Pour son budget. Pour ses projets. Pour la reconnaissance 
Le métier RH n'est pas un job où tout tombe "tout cuit"
Mais faire ça 365 jours par an c'est usant

Je n'ai pas la réponse à toutes les embûches
Je fais le max pour en partager quelques-unes sur Linkedin
Mais ce post est là pour vous dire que vous n'êtes pas seuls 💙

Voir juste. Parler trop tard. Ne pas être entendu
La malédiction de 90% des DRH vis-à-vis de leur DG

Les DRH captent des signaux faibles très tôt
Pas dans le P&L. Pas dans les slides COMEX

Mais dans le recrutement
Les comportements managériaux
Le climat social et la relation CSE

Ces infos ne sont pas plus importantes que le reste
Mais elles éclairent la stratégie différemment
C'est une pièce du puzzle comme les autres

Sauf que le dans la vraie vie ça ne se passe pas comme ça

La pièce "People" est bien dans l'angle mort du COMEX
Sauf que parfois le DRH n'ose pas la partager
Ou pire : on ne l'écoute pas

Résultat : la boîte se plante
Et le DRH l'avait vu venir à des kilomètres

Quel terrible gâchis
Le pire c'est que ca se passe surement chez vous !

Alors en 2026 changeons cela

RH : osez dire ce que vous voyez
DG : prêtez une oreille attentive

Une stratégie sans la pièce People n’est pas incomplète
Elle est aveugle

Rien ne justifie de sacrifier sa santé pour son travail
C'est le message émouvant du... PDG de Coca-Cola ? 

6 septembre 1991. Brian Dyson s'adresse à des étudiants
Il est à l'époque le dirigeant de Coca-Cola Entreprises
48 Md de CA. Des dizaines de milliers de salarés

Et pourtant personne n'aurait pu imaginer ce qu'il allait dire :

"Dans votre vie future vous jonglerez avec 5 balles"

Démarra-t-il face aux centaines de jeunes étudiants

"Famille, Santé, Amis, Esprit : toutes ces balles sont en verre. Si vous les laissez tomber vous risquez de les briser et de jamais arriver à les réparer"

Puis il surprit tout le monde 

"La 5eme balle, celle du travail est en caoutchouc.
Elle rebondira toujours"

Ce début d'année est dur pour 90% des gens à qui je parle
Je voulais en profiter pour rappeler la fable de Brian

La balle en caoutchouc n'est pas si fragile
Les balles en verres ne sont pas si solides

Force à vous si vous jonglez depuis longtemps 💙

Rappel à tous les RH qui en bavent en ce moment 
(Je vais dire tout haut ce qu'on n'a pas le droit de dire)

Peut-être que : 

→ Votre DG est juste une chèvre prétentieuse ? 
→ Ce manager ne devrait pas être manager ?
→ Ce salarié est vraiment de mauvaise foi ?
→ Le budget est vraiment insuffisant ?
→ La boite ne peut pas être sauvée ? 
→ Personne d'autre n'y arriverait ? 

C'est une bonne chose d'être courageux
Mais basculer en mode sauveur va vous rincer

Certaines situations ne sont pas des "challenges"
Ce sont des "échec et mat" impossibles à résoudre
Dans ces cas-là ce n'est pas de la faiblesse d'échouer

Ce serait de l'inconscience de foncer dans le mur

Alors est-ce que c'est vous qui êtes en échec ? 
Ou est-ce qu'on vous demande de résoudre un puzzle sans solution ?
