The business was acquired by an AIM listed PLC in a £10m deal.

Successfully led the Finance, HR, IT & Producer services functions through a period of significant change coupled with responsibility for the management of the Group's property portfolio

Key achievements:
o	Led the legal re-organisation of the group creating a unified entity, ensuring no tax disadvantages and  re-negotiating pension scheme covenants without the need for further employer contribution
o	Negotiated the acquisition of a supplier in administration, completing the deal with no disruption to supply or effect on producers. Led the legal, PR and HR teams throughout the process
o	IT – introduced robust back up and security systems, 
o	HR – introduced appraisal system, skills audit & review, time & attendance reporting and review of all HR policies & procedures ensuring compliance with latest requirements
o	HR – introduced a salary sacrifice scheme with 97% of eligible staff joining the scheme
o	Reporting – created group wide , integrated management reporting including cash forecast & operational KPI’s
o	Undertook condition review of all properties identifying significant issues and established programme of remedial works
o	Delivered £1.1m property renovation project across 3 sites within budget and time
o	Negotiated with DEFRA to allow organisation to grant a charge over primary property asset to the DB Pension Scheme avoiding significant increases in deficit cash contributions

o	Negotiated reduction in debt repayments of £330k and debt reduction plan in relation to existing £11m debt writing off £4m.
o	Eliminated tax liability by £100k through realignment of accounting policies and subsequently created tax losses of £1m
o	Redesigned monthly MI to provide more focussed MI including KPI's, balance sheet & cashflow reporting 
o	Refinanced existing debt facilities of £3m and raised £400k asset finance to enable business expansion
