I also help them measure the impact of their innovation investment, using data and evidence to make better decisions. I help teams save time and money on projects that don’t have potential, and scale up the ones that do. I help teams design and test value propositions and business models that solve customer problems and create competitive advantage.

As host of Strategyzer webinars, I have the privilege of facilitating engaging and insightful conversations with some of the world’s leading experts on corporate innovation. We explore topics such as business model design, innovation culture, leadership and strategy with guests like Hubert Joly (Former CEO of Best Buy) and Garry Ridge (former CEO of WD40). I work alongside Alex Osterwalder, the inventor of the Business Model Canvas and a best-selling author, and Tendayi Viki, an award-winning author and innovation consultant. My role is to ensure that our webinars are interactive, fast-paced, informative and fun and that our audience gets the most value out of them. I never really fit in a box.

I left a golden position at Roche to start my consulting practice.

I became an entrepreneur with 3 kids, the youngest one was 1 year old.

I scale up a business without hiring, but by building digital products (including building a GenAI academy for teams).

I think it worked because I never followed the standard playbook. 🧐 (ok also probably. because I got lucky, got amazing friends to have a beer with when things are very sh*tty)

Same with Generative AI today.

Often, I feel like an outsider in how I coach my teams.

Most people focus wait until January to plan or finalize their year.

By then, the curve is already here.

I take myself on a personal retreat. Every November. For the past 8 years.

Why November?
Because planning your year in December is like preparing for a curve while you're already in it.
Smart drivers prepare before the curve. When the road is still straight.

 I like to joke that’s why my hair is curly. The older I get, the curlier it gets (not sure where the white hair comes from yet..😅) 


Today our focus and attention are under constant attack. That’s why these habits matter.

When your AI champions know more about ChatGPT than your culture. 
Do you have the right GenAI champions in your department? 

I doubt it. 

Here is a recent conversation I had with a female leader in Big Pharma, a department of 70 people.
Three AI champions, one per division. Great. 

Wait, but :

All male.
All technical.
Many are new to the organization.

None had ever led change before.

So I asked 👉 “If you were building a change management team, not an AI champion community, who would you include?”

Suddenly, we talked about bringing in more diversity and the right competencies to build trust and engagement.  

✅ An admin to help with structure 
✅ More women for diversity, and in this case (but not always!), less tech profiles 
✅ A former people leader (eg a chief of staff) who knows how change actually works

Often, the people best placed to lead AI adoption aren’t the ones with the most AI skills: Tech competencies. 

They’re the ones who make change happen: Trust competencies.

During a chat with a Roche leader in Basel, I sketched these 2 different ways to help your team use GenAI in healthcare. 

Approach #1 (Tool-First): 

Looking at the tool 
→ then the features 
→ then how to use it in a specific context (e.g., GenAI in access, GenAI in marketing, GenAI in HR).

Approach #2 (User-First): 

Looking at end-user goals, frustrations, or wishes 
→ then identify use cases where GenAI could help  
→ then determine capabilities (aka features) needed 
→ select the right tool
