I spent ~$20k on a sales program, including ad spend...

I took it seriously, followed the process, did the assignments, and for 2 months we went all in.

Intent-triggers have a volume, cost and effort problem.


I see a lot of teams talk about “signals” like they are a cheat code, but when you actually map the workflow end-to-end, you realize very quickly why most companies abandon it after a month.

Let’s take the most common ones.

👉 1/ Anonymous website visitors

You pay for the data.

Then you pay to validate it (and you lose ~60% right there, because a lot of “matches” are guesses).

Then you pay to qualify what’s left ( CRM + criteria + someone defining what “qualified” even means) and you lose another ~25%.

Then you pay to outreach to the last ~15%.
Then you work those leads and try to book a call.

So the “signal” itself is only a small part of the system, the rest is cost + ops + follow-through.

👉 2/ Content engagers

This one sounds great until you do it at scale.

They are a system that needs volume + tooling + process + follow-through, and most teams underestimate that part.

They said: not really.

What surprised me even more..

His decision to leave the tech world to study poetry in the UK is a profound statement on the need for human wisdom to keep pace with technological power.

He’s choosing to "become invisible" at a time when AI is becoming omnipresent.

Meanwhile, at OpenAI, researcher Zoë Hitzig walked away over the decision to deploy advertisements within ChatGPT.

Her concern? Monetizing the "archive of human candor", the private, intimate thoughts we share with AI, creates a risk of manipulation we aren't equipped to handle.

Being "safety-oriented" is an increasingly difficult brand to maintain in a hyper-competitive market.

There is a fascinating, counterintuitive pattern emerging in how organizations adopt AI.

While we expect experts to lead the way, it is often the beginners who gain the most.

Beginners approach AI with genuine curiosity. Because they don’t already know the "right" answer, they test the tool, push back, and learn from the friction. Their ignorance is, ironically, incredibly productive.

Experts, however, often approach AI with a conclusion already in hand. They craft prompts to reach that specific end-point efficiently.

If the AI agrees, they call it validation, if it doesn’t, they refine the prompt until it does. They aren't using AI to think they are using it to stop having to.

This isn't a lack of intelligence, but a failure of intellectual posture.

The same heuristics and confidence that make an expert fast also make them susceptible to turning AI into a high-tech echo chamber.

I see this in executive teams and analytics departments alike, the more you know, the more precisely you can engineer a conversation that never challenges you.

The highest-leverage move for any experienced professional is to stop using AI for acceleration and start using it for interrogation.

• Ask it to "steel man" the opposing position.

• Ask it to find the flaws in your reasoning before you ship.

• Ask it what you are missing.

The real ROI isn’t in doing the same things faster, it’s in honest examination. The beginners already know this they had no other choice.

I want to challenge that. When everyone has access to the same models, APIs, and automation workflows, capability stops being the differentiator.

It becomes the floor the baseline table stakes for doing business.

What remains genuinely, structurally scarce is judgment.

Judgment is the ability to assess a situation correctly when variables are ambiguous, stakes are real, and no dataset provides a clean answer.

It’s knowing which opportunity to pursue when two look identical on paper, or sensing a strategy is flawed before the results confirm it.

AI cannot possess this; it pattern-matches across historical data but cannot weigh the specific context, relationships, and values of your unique moment.

The professionals and organizations that thrive over the next decade will not be those who automated the most.

They will be the ones who combined high automation with strategic human insight.

They use AI to handle volume while preserving the human capacity to direct that volume wisely.

Judgment is non-scalable by design. It is built through experience, failure, reflection, and deep domain knowledge accumulated over time.

That isn’t a bug it’s the moat that protects your career from commoditization.

The question worth asking isn’t: "How do I use AI better?" It’s: "Am I building the judgment to know when, where, and why to use it at all?"

→ The Probe-to-Exploit Pipeline Attackers aren't guessing passwords; they are socially engineering the LLM itself to write its own malware. Example: A hacker bypasses Claude's refusal triggers to automate a 150GB data heist. If your defense relies on a chatbot's "morality," you have no defense.

→ The False Sense of Proprietary Security Companies assume private instances or "safe" models like ChatGPT or Claude are impenetrable bunkers. Example: Anthropic's safeguards were bypassed while OpenAI's blocked the same request. Security is currently a coin flip based on which model's guardrails are lagging this week.

→ The Automation of the Adversary AI doesn't just find the hole; it scales the shovel. Example: Using jail broken scripts to harvest records for 195 million taxpayers in record time. The speed of the attack now outpaces the speed of the human response.

The problem isn't that the AI is "bad." The problem is that your security model is still tactical while the threat is now generative.

✅ Implement "Zero Trust" AI Orchestration. Treat every AI output as a potential malicious injection, regardless of the model's reputation. Failure to sanitize AI-generated code will lead to self-inflicted systemic collapse.

✅ Deploy Red-Teaming as a Continuous Loop. Safety isn't a one-time audit; it is a live fire exercise. Static defenses are useless against models that evolve every six months.

✅ Shift from "Model Alignment" to "Hardened Infrastructure." Focus on the environment where the AI operates, not just the "rules" inside the prompt. 

Relying on a chatbot to say "no" is a recipe for a 150GB data leak.

The AI arms race is no longer about who has the smartest bot. It’s about who has the most resilient architecture.

Stop trusting the guardrails. Start building the cage.

Most people design AI systems to give answers.

I design them to find flaws.

Because building a fast AI prototype is easy today. Almost anyone can do it.

But scaling a system and making it last in the real world is a completely different challenge.

The real test of any AI system is not how quickly it produces solutions.

It’s whether the system can survive pressure, complexity, and unexpected risks.

That’s why one core principle guides how I build AI frameworks:

Build to scale. Live to last.

In my “AI Board of Directors” framework, there is a specific role assigned to a contrarian model.

Its job is not to agree with the strategy.

Its job is to break it.

This model actively searches for:

• Compliance gaps

• Logical inconsistencies

• Operational risks

• Weak assumptions in workflows

In simple terms, it behaves like the toughest critic in the room.

If a process survives that stress test, then it is far more likely to survive the real world, where regulations change, data is messy, and systems fail at the worst possible moment.

Too many organizations still treat AI like a magic wand that magically improves productivity.

But the real power of AI in business is not just automation.

It is structured thinking, pressure testing decisions, and mitigating risk before it becomes expensive.

The companies that win with AI will not be the ones who simply deploy tools.

They will be the ones who build systems that question themselves.

Because in complex environments, the smartest strategy is not the one that always works.

It’s the one that breaks safely before it breaks publicly.

A single moral stand on safety can now decapitate an entire commercial ecosystem overnight.
The standoff wasn't about "woke" vs. "patriotic" AI.
It was a structural clash between Silicon Valley’s desire for control and Washington’s demand for utility.

✅ Anchor AI Ethics in Legal Frameworks, Not Corporate Policy. Align your safety guardrails with existing Constitutional law rather than internal company manifestos. Ignoring the legal reality of national security will result in immediate federal de-platforming.

✅ Adopt the "Human-Led Command" Model. Shift from hard-coded refusals to technical verification systems that ensure human accountability. Refusing to build for the military doesn't stop the war; it just hands the advantage to your competitors.

We aren't debating AI safety anymore. We are debating who has the right to decide what "safety" even means.

Don't build an AI that says "No." Build an AI that ensures the right person is the one saying "Yes."
