Our Mission is to Elevate conscious business practices through community and best practice sharing.

Changing Work is a collective of business leaders, employees, and consultants. 

Fundamentally, we do two things. 

First, we build community. There’s something incredibly powerful about being on a journey together with people who are bonded by a desire for a common good. 

Second, we share best practices. This comes in many forms - jointly written books, a podcast, a newsletter, courses, cohort-based learning, and more.

As a Lead volunteer and coordinator of Meditation and Mindfulness Programs at Google, I have a track record of successfully creating and implementing outreach and marketing initiatives at a company-wide level, building and scaling community, and deepening the practice of others.

My programs have included live streams, workshops, newsletters, podcasts, partnerships with employee resource groups, and team consultations, as well as daily guided and unguided meditations and facilitator training programs reaching over 5000 colleagues globally with mindfulness and wellbeing content.

In addition to my outreach and marketing efforts, I designed and launched custom wellbeing programming at the organizational and team levels reaching hundreds of employees with impactful, highly regarded and requested webinars, live events, and group workshops. 

I also developed and maintained relationships with external mindfulness and wellbeing vendors, agencies, keynote speakers, researchers, and luminaries in order to bring the best resources and expertise to our programs.

As a member of the Large Partner Solutions Team in the Global Business Operations Organization, I built and maintained strong partnerships with executives and account representatives at major national news conglomerates, leveraging my expertise in journalism and stakeholder management to generate over $100M in revenue.

I fostered strong relationships with strategic partnerships like Scripps, Media News Group, Dallas Morning News, and McClatchy.

I have a track record of innovating to find new uses for Google products to generate revenue, increase subscriptions, and leverage data for business decisions.

On the Google News Lab team, I served as a Google Product Evangelist for thousands of journalists and newsrooms worldwide, and representing Google at global industry events. 

I managed an educational marketing outreach program and designed a custom LMS  supporting customer education marketing programs, and certifications for Google products, educating over 500,000 journalists in 25 languages.

I also developed, launched, and scaled a community network of 400+ universities in 40 countries offering grants, digital skills, and training on Google products for education and journalism. 

In addition, I managed agency relationships, scaling training and marketing outreach programs across APAC, EMEA, NA, MENA, and LATAM

Product Marketing Manager / Training & Development Manager

I evangelized Google's tools for research and journalism to over 30,000 journalists across 36 countries, working to establish the Google Earth brand as a trusted partner for news gathering and storytelling.

I also designed and launched new marketing, outreach, and data-driven approaches to building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, bringing regional Google tools workshops to newsrooms worldwide, training 1700 journalists in EMEA, LATAM, and MENA.

•	Executive team leader responsible for building project teams and delivering on Critical Success 
        Factors necessary to drive annual business performance and workplace culture.

•	Led teams through 95% workload increase by championing a groundbreaking Agile methods 
        approach that transformed team/individual effectiveness/performance. 

•	Achieved unprecedented full ROI in 2.5 years ($1.7M) on a mission-critical workflow automation project. 

•	Increased Net Promoter Score by 14% (hit target set at 65%) over 2 years and led team that

UPS Freight

Held overall responsibility for customer service processes at the corporate consolidated Contact Center and the interface of 160+ locations across the United States. Responsible for $3.7 million annual budget serving over 1.6 million customer inquiries annually with 120+ employees. Responsible for all Human Resource functions. 

•	Key contributor on multiple company-wide service improvement initiatives: Corporate executive communications committee, E-commerce steering committee, Labor relations steering committee, and Project Lead for operational interface process improvement teams. 

•	Improved service level 63% within 24 months by building a workforce planning model that matched just-in-time trained associates to volume increases, attrition trends and service level goals. 

•	Championed a flagship Sales Support Department supporting a sales group of 75 Account Managers leading to increased customer contact/face time by an estimated 25%.

•	Built a ground up employee recognition/performance program, including a comprehensive attendance incentive program that hallmarked a Banked Time Policy. These programs raised performance standards by 30% and achieved 75% of team members meeting or exceeding monthly goals within 6 months.

• During a 13 year career, held management positions in Sales, Delivery Operations, Dock Operations and Customer Service.

• Held overall responsibility for the Virginia District Call Center with 7 management personnel and 75+ administrative employees. 

• Transitioned workforce to 60% temporary staff in less than 6 months during a corporate-wide restructure to outsource all Call Center operations.

A Thanksgiving Holiday Reflection ... 

this week has a way of softening me a little
 not because of tradition
 but because it gives me a moment to reflect
 on what’s been shaping me all year
 the good
 the stretch
 the unexpected openings

and Lincoln’s words land in that space
 not as a simple inspiration
 but as a reminder that leadership is rarely 
 simple
 clean
 one thing or another

Lincoln's legacy is an example of both
 real courage in the face of a broken nation
 and real harm — through delays, compromises, and decisions
 that protected some
 and cost others greatly
 especially enslaved and Indigenous people

and I’m not separate from that truth
 I know, I’ve caused harm too
 through my own blind spots
 through good intentions that didn’t land - that caused hurtful impact
 through choices I would make differently now
 with more awareness
 more dignity
 more care

and maybe that’s why this quote works for me right now
 because gratitude isn’t about pretending the story is tidy
 or pretending the past was perfect
 it’s about seeing the whole picture
 and letting it shape the way we live & lead going forward
 with more steadiness
 more humility
 and a deeper sense of our shared humanity

so this week
 I’m sitting with all of it
 🙏🏼 the blessings
 👋🏼 the opportunities
 🙆🏼‍♂️ the challenges that stretched me in ways I didn’t ask for
 🦸🏼‍♂️ the courage that showed up while my knees were shaking 

however you spend the days ahead
 I hope you find a little space
 to reflect
 to take in the good
 to let it work on you
 and build more connections to the people who help you grow
 in the direction you actually want to go

in the days ahead,
