It's because their DMs are all about them: 
— “Look at my credentials”
— “Here's my process”
— ”This is what I charge”

(My inbox gets like 200 of these a week. I ignore all of them.)

Your prospect doesn't care about your special sauce until they trust you actually get their problem.

Right?

So if you're trying to land clients through DMs — which I know most of you are doing because your referral network dried up — you need a pattern that builds trust without sounding like every other desperate consultant.
