Recently, someone asked me what sets me apart from other coaches. My answer is that I am first and foremost a human being, just like you. I have gone through the same struggles and continue to work on myself every day. I do not claim to have all the answers, nor do I believe that I have figured everything out.
However, I am committed to making progress and making a difference in people's lives. Through my journey, I have gained knowledge, credentials, and experience that have given me a comprehensive perspective. My approach to coaching is unique because it addresses all aspects of my clients' lives. I believe that at any moment, we have the opportunity to change our lives, bodies, and minds.

While credentials are important, I believe that the most crucial "credential" when working with clients is the connection. I strive to establish meaningful connections with all my clients, and I am delighted when they feel supported and connected to me. That is where the real magic happens.

Nicholas is a highly experienced and fully qualified hotelier with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has held senior management positions with Aphrodite Hills Resort for the past 14 years, managing an enterprise of over €25M. He is recognized as a business leader with a wealth of insight into business turnarounds and growth.
Nicholas has a proven record of accomplishment in managing all aspects of a hotel and resort's operation, focusing on business turnarounds, revenue generation, profit protection, and operational standards to achieve desired profitability returns on investment. He is comfortable and enthusiastic about leading new corporate ideas and integrating separate business elements and team members to achieve desired results. He leads by example and is a team player, motivating colleagues to generate growth in confidence and nurture their commitment. As General Manager my responsibilities are to coordinate the efforts of the Hotel, Village Square Restaurants and the Retreat Spa. This mainly reflects on preparing the relevant budgets, monitoring P&L thus achieving GOP and achieving customer satisfaction. Other duties also involve collaborating with the Resort elements mangers on a daily basis to ensure a smooth operation on the Resort.

As a 4th Generation Hotelier, who was born in a hotel bedroom in Wales, I have accumulated over 40 years of experience working as an Internationally mobile General Manager in various locations around the world, with many different cultures. I believe I am an accomplished and results oriented Hotelier with experience in developing and implementing solid organizational cultures that address the needs of the guests, colleagues, owners and the community in general.  I am now involved with Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative for the past 5 years.

I have a proven track record in managing all aspects of the operation, focusing on revenue generation, profit protection and operational standards so as to achieve the desired profitability return on investment.  I have also been able to effectively communicate with Owners and Owner’s Representatives on the best business models required to manage the assets in a sustainable, intelligent and profitable manner.

Besides taking over already established operations and leading them to greater profitability,  I have also been able to create seven ‘brand new teams’ from scratch, all of which have developed quickly into ‘award winning teams’.     

I like to lead by example and this has helped me instil a ‘Just do it’ culture in all my teams – my enthusiasm has helped me attract many excellent managers and potential managers to my teams and I am very proud that many of them have gone on to be very successful General Managers in their own right.  This has been achieved by giving the right advice on career development, having a clear vision, effective guest and team member relations, regular performance monitoring and a well communicated commitment to all sustainability issues and processes efficiency.
