Yesterday, I cried after very long time…

While driving to a meeting with my company lawyer, I was listening to the audiobook “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins.
.
.
At one point, I had to slow down the car.
My eyes filled with tears.
.
.
He was speaking about his childhood.
About being beaten almost daily by his own father.
.
.
Not once.
Not by accident.
But repeatedly, for almost any reason.
.
.
It hit me deeply.
.
.
I started thinking about how many kids, right now, at this exact moment, might be going through something similar.
.
.
Behind closed doors.
In silence.
Invisible to the world.
.
.
I don’t know what I can do about all of that.
But I know one thing with absolute certainty.
.
.
I will never, ever raise a hand against my son.
For any reason.
.
.
I believe humans were given the ability to speak for a reason.
To explain. To listen. To resolve. To guide.
.
.
Violence doesn’t create strength.
It creates fear.
.
.
And fear lives far longer than bruises.

For most of my life, I was slightly overweight

Bigger clothes
Getting tired easily
Choosing the elevator instead of the stairs

I told myself it was genetics
That I was born this way

As a teenager, I once told my father I dreamed of living near the ocean, somewhere warm

Having a simple business
A normal life without a suit, without a job I hated

He got irritated and said:

“Stop dreaming. Study. Finish university.”
“For that kind of life, you need a BIG pile of money.”

Ten years have passed since I lost him
.
.
Today, 

I live near the ocean.
I’m self-employed.
I haven’t worked for a salary in over eight years.
I have my wife, my child, my home, my car…
.
.
That’s when it hit me.
If I changed this… I can change anything.

.
That’s why I recorded a podcast episode with Alan Dick,
about changing the body, the lifestyle, and the identity behind it.

I’m now in the best shape of my life.
(Not even close yet to how I would like to look like)

No sugary drinks. No alcohol. Almost no sweets.
Training, swimming, sauna…

Focused on longevity and being present for my family.

Today I turn 35

Not doing more

Doing what actually moves the needle, in business, health, family, and character

• The right conversations change everything
• Legacy is built quietly, daily, when no one is watching

I’m grateful for the lessons that hurt, the people who stayed, and the standards I refused to lower.

The next chapter isn’t about proving
It’s about building, with intention

A while back, I spent almost two hours on a Zoom call 
with Jason Fladlien for my podcast. (Full Episode Coming Soon)

At one point, the conversation shifted away 
from tactics, funnels, or revenue…
and landed on something much deeper: impact.

What stuck with me was this idea:

Most people think impact is how inspired someone feels in the moment.
The comments. The praise. The “this was amazing” messages.

But real impact shows up later.
Not in emotion, in action.

Did someone actually change a behavior?
Did they finally make a decision they were avoiding?
Did something tangible look different 30 days later?

Because a message can feel powerful…
and still change nothing.

The highest form of impact isn’t being memorable.
It’s being measurable.

Now, before I create or share anything, I ask myself one question:

“If someone applied this, what would actually change in their life?”

That’s the bar.
That's the impact.
