I noticed this shift three months ago when a client forwarded me a ChatGPT response about SaaS positioning.

Here's how to optimise your content for AI citations:
1. Pick one niche and own it
Write about the same topic consistently for at least six months. AI rewards depth, not breadth.

2. Use clear frameworks in your posts
Break down your expertise into repeatable systems. Number your steps. Name your methods. Make them quotable.

3. Answer specific questions your audience asks
Don't write vague advice. Address real problems with concrete solutions AI can extract and reference.

4. Write 2-3 posts per week minimum
Consistency signals authority. One viral post won't get you cited. Fifty valuable posts will.

5. Structure your insights like mini-articles
Use clear sections, bullet points, and logical flow. Make it easy for AI to parse and understand your expertise.

6. Reference your own previous posts
Build a body of work that connects. When AI sees you've covered a topic from multiple angles, you become the authority.

If you told me in 2016 that I’d inherit my husband’s work desk, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Back then, we were five years into planting our shellfish, still bootstrapping, funding the enterprise ourselves, and far from calling it the bread and butter. Fast forward a decade: we’re scaling with new partners as he embarks on new writing and innovation projects he’s passionate about. Meanwhile, I’m entering the AI space, with a major launch of our "super intelligence brain" next week. 

This evolution illustrates the power of a long-term time horizon, how today’s decisions compound over years and shape future possibilities. The business and life you nurture in 2026 is the foundation of the story you’ll tell in 2036.

Turning more than half a century isn’t just a number it’s a profound moment to feel how much life has shaped me, and how much still awaits.

Last year, after days navigating the neon buzz of Tokyo, my son and I escaped to the quiet waters of Odaiba on a small boat cruise. Surrounded by gentle waves and open sky, we found not only calm but a rare space to breathe and truly connect. It was in that silence that I realized how often we miss the simple rhythms that restore us.

This memory now anchors my hopes for this new chapter: to lean into those moments of slowing down and to seek new adventures with my son, my dad, and my husband, adventures that heal, challenge, and deepen our bonds.

As I celebrate this milestone, I’m learning that embracing change isn’t easy. It asks us to be vulnerable, to trust, and most of all, to show up with an open heart.

I grew up in a poverty-stricken Filipino household. When there was no food, sardines were the fallback, something I learned to dislike deeply. Shrimp, the food of the rich, was out of reach.

Then, last Sunday, a Filipino friend brought grilled shrimp to my birthday dinner. Eating shrimp was a reminder, your current reality is not your destiny.
Wherever you are today, loving or hating sardines, things will change, but only if you change.
