B2B sales has been my whole career, and I love it. 

Sometimes, I’m founding the products I sell. Other times, building teams to sell. 

I used to think sales reps close deals. Over time, I realized they don’t — buyers do.

DXC Technology

With a focus on accelerating growth in ANZ through uplift of sales capability, I helped by facilitating and coaching on pursuit strategy, messaging strategy for client-facing meetings, storytelling for the complex sales pitch, Orals presentation skills, and more.

I provided adhoc communications training and coaching to DXC account managers and delivery executives and I also mentored and coached new professionals taking part in DXC's graduate program.

Coach/Trainer -- Sales Enablement Team

In April 2017, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC)  merged with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services (HPES) to form DXC Technology. My role continued in the new organisation where I closely collaborated with the bid leadership team on content strategy across sales proposals and customer-facing presentations.

I also regularly created and conducted ‘lunch and learn’ writing workshops such as:

•	How to Write an Effective Value Proposition
•	How to Storyboard Complex B2B IT Sales Pitches

Highlights: In July 2017, I conceived a one-on-one, highly personalised writing coaching service open to sales executives, account managers and subject matter experts. In February 2018, I was invited to create a communications workshop for the 2018 Graduate Program and which I presented to over 100 young professionals.

Content Strategist - Sales & Pursuits

After working as a senior bid writer for over two years, in September 2016, I was promoted to a more strategic role where I closely collaborated with the bid leadership team on messaging strategy for large and complex deals.

I also regularly created and conducted ‘lunch and learn’ sales communications workshops such as:

•	Persuasive Writing
•	How to Write an Effective Value Proposition
•	The 6 Steps to Crafting a Winning Executive Summary

Highlights: Being part of a pursuit team in 2015 and 2016 for a winning $200M bid with contract signed in January 2017. 

In early 2017, I was part of a team working to create global processes and best practices for sales proposals in preparation for the merger with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services.

CSC Australia was part of a multi-national technology services corporation, headquartered in the USA. I developed bid content for more than 40 sales proposals, ranging from $10M to $750M in a pressurised, deadline-driven environment. 

Highlights: Contributing to two winning proposals each valued at over $100M; conceiving and developing writing courses on better business grammar and persuasive writing. I conducted these courses as live workshops in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne in 2015 to CSC staff and in 2016 to UXC staff – a mid-sized IT services company CSC had acquired at that time.
