Shooting In Lipstick came to be when I realized I was trying to "dress down" to match the guys around me in my chosen hobby. One day I started to wonder WHY and that led me to contemplate what it means to own your sense of self no matter who is around. And Shooting In Lipstick was born.

As I rebuild, SiL will seek to address some serious things like the role of shooting sports in the modern world, living with a disability and chronic pain, what it means to own yourself when you feel "other" and many more, But we will also discuss makeup, fashion, subscription boxes, and perfume. I hope to introduce you to some amazing independent beauty entrepreneurs along the way.
