I am what happens when a musician and pastor turns Walt Disney Imagineer.  Then turns Chief Experience and Innovation Officer, author, and podcaster. Gets and beats cancer three times. Turns executive on a mission to help HUMANIZE THE WORLD, ONE PERSON AT A TIME!

Recently, I served as Chief Experience, Innovation, and Product Officer for PatientPoint, a leading digital health company connecting patients, healthcare providers, and life sciences companies with the right information at the most critical moments—when care decisions are made. I also served as the CEO of OFFOR Health, a mobile healthcare company transforming access to care. I am the founder and CEO of The Nason Group, a human-obsessed consulting firm that design and deliver Experience Ecosystems your organization and customers will love.

The Lie That Men Must Suffer Alone...

We still tell men this lie:  
“Deal with it. Alone.”  

And it’s killing us!  

Men are dying in silence,  
performing in public,  
drowning in shame.  

Here’s my truth:  
I was sexually abused.  
I got cancer.  
I kept performing.  

Until I couldn't anymore!  

→ Mindset got me to the boardroom.  
→ Heartset got me through the dark.  

You don’t need to carry the pain alone.  
You need a SWARM.

I live in vulnerability and transparency.
It is how I stay mentally healthy.

I used to think I had to keep it together.
Abuse, cancer, and burnout taught me
what silence can cost.

So I chose a different way.

And my body believes it.

Globally, an estimated 5.7% of adults
live with depression.

I know what it is like to look fine

Silence is killing too many men.
I need you to sit with that.

Males are about half the U.S. population,
and nearly 80% of suicides.

I’ve been the guy who could talk to a room,
and still not tell the truth to one person.

Abuse taught me to minimize.
Burnout taught me to perform.
Cancer taught me how loud your mind can get when you are alone with it.

Silence makes pain heavier.

Is it really that serious if I am still functioning?
Yes, because functioning is not being okay.

→ Put one name in your phone for hard nights
→ Ask for help before you “deserve” it

Last week I went where my heart needed to go.
I sat with brothers who are walking or have walked 
the cancer road. Can't wait to get with them again.

I took a hike! Yes, me! I hiked!

Spent time with Elijah, my best buddy, steady and real!

Mental health is not a side quest, it is survival.

Will some people judge the way you heal?

I know what I need, and I choose it anyway!

What did I learn on this trip?
That listening to your body is leadership.
