It won’t make your culture feel human again.  

Trust isn’t earned once.  
It’s built daily.  
Through presence, consistency, and action.  

→ Show up even when it’s messy.  
→ Speak truth before you’re ready.  
→ Lead with your values, not your fears.

Friends, I’ve been sitting with 2025.
Trying to name what it really was.

It was a year where cancer tried to be
the main character, and I kept fighting back.

There were stretches that felt like living scan to scan,
appointment to appointment, patience I didn’t ask for.

There were days I felt strong.
There were days I felt wrung out.
I’m not ashamed of either.

If anything, 2025 taught me this:
courage isn’t loud, it’s consistent.

Carla and the kids have been my steady place.
Not just the big moments, the thousand small ones.

→ The quiet hand squeezes.
→ The “we’re doing this” look.
→ The way they kept normal life moving
when mine wanted to stall.

We made space for joy this year too.
Two Disney cruises, Destiny and Treasure.

We did Disneyland for Spring Break.
We spent Christmas at Disney World.

Those celebrations were priceless.
And yes, they marked something simple and huge,
I made it through another battle.

I also learned something humbling.
I’m not built to do hard things alone.

Friends reminded me of that over and over.
Texts. Calls. Random check-ins. Prayers.

And the dumb jokes at the perfect time,
the kind of support that doesn’t need a spotlight.

Some of you carried me without saying you were.
I won’t forget that.

Somewhere in the middle of it all,
I stepped away from the noise when I could.

Even if it was just for a day,
I chose peace on purpose.

I’m still learning how to rest without guilt.
Still learning how to let people love me
without trying to earn it.

If 2025 had one theme, it’s this:
I’m still here, and I’m choosing love on purpose.

Thank you for being part of my story,
and for helping me keep the heart in it.

But leadership still runs the show.  

Every brand is chasing smarter tools.  
But few are asking harder questions.
