Arts For All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socio-economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts. Through Arts For All, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.

Marquis Studios

Marquis Studios is a 40‐year­‐old nonprofit organization providing arts education services to more than 150 New York City public schools. We serve diverse populations. 80% of program participants live at or below the poverty line, and as the Kennedy Center VSA NYC Affiliate organization, more than half of our grant-funded programs serve classrooms containing students with disabilities. We offer a full spectrum of residencies that encourage student exploration of visual arts, theater, music, dance, architecture, circus arts and puppetry. Our goal is to develop a passion for creative learning in each and every child allowing students to reach their full potential.

Developing and implementing lesson and unit plans. Teaching a large, diverse group of people from a broad range of ages and demographics. Working with classroom teachers and administrators as a part of a collaborative team. Submitting unit and lesson plans, evaluation forms, sign in sheets, and time sheets to the organization administrators. Connecting content to Common Core Learning Standards. Planning and executing celebrations/showcases of pupil achievements. Establishing a comfortable and safe learning environment and implementing clear, consistent age appropriate expectations and rules. Participating in family activities. Attending staff meetings, professional development workshops and program events. Performing other duties assigned by the Program Director.
