•	Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensure necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines
•	Develop, supervise, and participate in employee and/or driver training on safety policies, procedures, and regulations in the transportation industry
•	Develop health and safety guidelines, policies, and processes in alignment with all applicable regulations and laws; communicate as appropriate throughout the organization
•	Create, promote, and manage employee involvement in safety programs; design safety management incentives for all employees; and provide guidelines on contractor safety

DOT Manager II Hazmat/Citations/Inspections 

•	Responsible for developing/leading/maintaining all aspects of Intermodal Maintenance
•	Maintaining relationships with the maintenance side of our rail partners and vendors
•	Perform field audits of equipment, personnel, and intermodal facilities
•	Responsible for importation of intermodal equipment into Canada, Mexico, and new business startups 
•	Ensure department KPI’s are met or exceeded along with continuing improvements in the Intermodal Maintenance Department  
•	Responsible for the procurement company owned intermodal lift equipment and placement
•	Involved in the procurement of the components that make up company owned intermodal equipment
•	Involved in the RFP and implication of tire programs and vendor support networks
•	Perform analysis of company CSA (Compliance, Safety & Accountability) scores looking for ways to improve fleet performance

Intermodal Maintenance Manager II

•	Freight covered every day while exceeding customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations 
•	Proactively analysis to prevent carrier service failure 
•	Consistent communication with customers relaying info on their freight movements
•	Productive carrier relations with AP discrepancy resolution, load coverage, payments etc

•	Manage 35 drivers and their needs along with the needs of customers in these set lanes   
•	Supervise drivers with everything from load execution to DOT regulations   
•	Manage and balance the set lanes between both customer and driver needs and doing so in a profitable manner

Mid-West Regional Project Manager 

•	Manage assigned set region of responsibility by efficiently planning loads on drivers available
•	Maintained freight levels for region by working with Account Representatives in soliciting freight and helped them with customer surge freight 
•	Determined the most cost-effective procedures for routing shipments

These are just some of the awards I have earned over my career.  I have an " In it to win it" and "Go big or
go home” type job and work ethic no matter the task.  I am low cost and high return asset oriented.  I am
hands on and want to get the job done.  I have taken on projects when I noticed there was a need for an
updated policy or current trends.  I am a motivated self-starter who wants to do my best at everything I
do. I see my accomplishments as a direct reflection of myself and my character. 
These are not just work characteristics but life characteristics.  I live this way in my personal life as well.  I
have been an NRA Certified Instructor, State of Arkansas Conceal Carry Instructor and Arkansas
Hunter's Education Instructor since 2013.  I have also been on the Friends of NRA planning committees
of both Benton and Washington County Arkansas for several years.  The reflections of these
characteristics are seen in the reviews of my firearms training classes as well as from my peers.
