I have delivered many speeches, lectures, videos and podcasts to global audiences on related topics, such as ‘Achieving Goals in Governance’, ‘Value Driven Auditing’ and ‘Using the Power of Scenario Simulation to Remodel Control Testing - A Game Changer’.   

In 2024, I was recognised as an Audit Beacon at The 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, one of my proudest moments. 

As a multilingual communicator, fluent in three languages, I engage effectively with diverse stakeholders up to board level, steering and influencing strategic agendas relating to Environmental, Social and Governance (𝗘𝗦𝗚), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (𝗗𝗘&𝗜), Artificial Intelligence (𝗔𝗜) governance, and cybersecurity. 

I served as 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 of the Veblen Director Programme, enhancing the board dynamics and unlocking opportunities with global leaders. 

At 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲, a FTSE company, I developed audit innovation hubs spanning five continents comprising over 45 high-performing auditors, and advanced the company’s 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 with a new team of data scientists and rollout of digital tools and technologies. 

I was instrumental in supporting Glencore through a turbulent time caused by the commodities crisis, retaining $MM audit services for a carved-out agriculture business, and reducing working capital.    

Over the years, I have headed high-profile fraud investigations and mitigated risks, ensuring compliance during complex situations, and safeguarding positive outcomes. 

I created and maintained Glencore’s 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (ERM) framework, systems and standards, reporting upwards to the board.

What stayed with me wasn’t just the packed rooms or the pace of conversations — it was the sense of unity in the words we heard.

𝗨𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝗲𝗻 reminded us that “𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 — 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚.”
A powerful affirmation that openness and partnership are not weaknesses, but strengths.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗻 stressed the need to defend multilateralism — 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨.
Not as an abstract ideal, but as a practical commitment to shared progress.

And 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, was characteristically direct: 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙧𝙪𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Yesterday in #Davos at the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting, the conversations felt wide-ranging and deeply consequential.

From geopolitics to markets, from AI to energy, leaders spoke candidly about the pressures they’re navigating and the choices ahead. Different perspectives, different priorities — all shaped by a shared sense that the global system is in motion.

Here’s a snapshot of the voices that defined the day:

• 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗝. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽, President of the United States, touched on a wide range of topics, including trade and tariffs, regional security, AI development and energy.
• 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗶, President of Argentina, outlined his country's economic transformation, highlighting fiscal discipline, falling inflation and reforms to boost productivity and entrepreneurship, while addressing AI regulation.
• 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗵 𝗘𝗹-𝗦𝗶𝘀𝗶, President of Egypt, outlined Egypt's vision for regional stability and peace, alongside ambitious economic reforms and major infrastructure investment, highlighting the strategic role of the Suez Canal.
• 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗮, Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority, reflected on the Oslo Accords, discussed Palestinian independence and reaffirmed his commitment to Palestinian resilience.
• 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴, President and CEO of NVIDIA, urged leaders to get involved in AI, highlighting large-scale infrastructure investment, productivity gains, job creation and AI's potential to close the global technology gap.
• 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻, Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, discussed markets, trade and AI, urging companies to confront technological change head-on as rapid innovation reshapes global competition.
• 𝗞𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻, President and CEO of Citadel, discussed market volatility, government debt and tariffs, warning that fiscal risks and policy uncertainty are weighing on economic confidence and business planning.
