But during university, I chose finance, thinking I wouldn't fit in marketing as an introvert.

A few years later, I realized I needed a change. 

As a huge believer in ‘it's never too late’…

I quit my job and started learning about digital marketing through side hustles.

Soon, I got an offer to work as a brand & shopper marketing assistant in Brussels at Neuhaus.

I remember, I was on a diet back then…

But I couldn't resist the temptation of chocolates around me.

Every day, I got to taste different kinds. (I miss those days) 

What I loved the most: getting to work in English and French every day (I used to work in French). 

My role? 

At Neuhaus, I was working on Corné Port Royal (a brand under Neuhaus):

- Created engaging B2B materials
- Analyzed the market and competition
- Redesigned packaging processes to cut costs

- Launched new products, window concepts, and collections.

I've been lucky enough to study and work across the globe: Morocco, France, Malta, Belgium, China, Canada. Think about getting to explore the cultures, languages, and ideas from all these awesome places. That's what I did, and each place added a bit to who I am today.

In 2020, life took an unexpected turn when I had to leave China due to COVID-19. It was a tough decision, but looking back, it set me on an exciting new path. 

That's when I started working independently and exploring new opportunities.

As a pivotal member of Ingenico's R&D and Innovation team, I played an integral role in the implementation of cutting-edge payment methods, specifically focusing on the development of voice payment functionality in smart devices.

Understanding the rapid shift in consumer behavior towards more seamless, contactless, and digital payment solutions, we identified the untapped potential of utilizing smart devices for financial transactions. Consequently, our team embarked on the challenging yet exciting journey of developing a voice-activated payment system.

Our goal was to create a secure, user-friendly, and fast payment method that would leverage the increasingly ubiquitous presence of smart devices in everyday life. I worked closely with a diverse team of engineers, user experience designers, data scientists, and business analysts, ensuring that we were creating a solution that not only used the most advanced technology but was also in line with market trends and customer expectations.

As a Product Owner at Carrefour, I played a significant role in leading various high-impact projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, improving customer experience, and transitioning to cloud-based platforms.

Under the project "OPTIM," I spearheaded initiatives to reduce the Azure / GCP Cloud bill in light of our migration to the Cloud. This involved the implementation of a machine learning engine designed to predict cloud consumption, enabling more effective and cost-efficient use of resources. 

In the "LEA" project, I contributed to the implementation of a voice assistant designed to enhance customer experience by facilitating the creation of shopping lists and providing product recommendations. 

Under the "Build To Cloud" initiative, I supervised the migration of a suite of applications from Accenture DC to the Azure / GCP Cloud. This required strategic planning, monitoring, and coordination of applications migrating to the Cloud. These efforts resulted in seamless migration and the improved efficiency of our digital applications.

As a Product Owner, I contributed to the design and implementation of Bancassurance and Assistance products, I played a crucial role in creating a seamless digital lifecycle and usage path for these offerings. Understanding the evolving needs and preferences of customers in the insurance and assistance sectors, our aim was to develop a user-centric approach that optimized the customer journey from start to finish.

Our first step was to design and validate the target customer journey, mapping out the various touchpoints and interactions throughout the entire lifecycle of the product. This involved identifying pain points, streamlining processes, and incorporating digital solutions to enhance the overall experience.

One of the significant aspects of our project was the implementation of electronic signature functionality, allowing customers to conveniently and securely sign important documents online. We also focused on electronic document management, ensuring that all relevant documents and records were stored and accessible in a digital format.

To guide the development process, I wrote user stories that captured specific user needs and requirements, detailing the desired features and functionalities of the product. These user stories served as a foundation for the creation and maintenance of the product backlog, providing a roadmap for development and future enhancements.

Throughout the project, our goal was to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that showcased the core functionality and value of the Bancassurance and Assistance products. This involved careful coordination with cross-functional teams, continuous testing and iteration, and a relentless focus on meeting customer expectations.

As part of the redesign of the Pocket Bank mobile application, I played a key role in creating an enhanced user experience. Our goal was to rethink the banking app to provide a user-friendly and intuitive interface for customers.

To begin, we conducted in-depth UX research, analyzing user needs and expectations. This allowed us to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the existing application.

Next, we created a clear product concept and vision, defining the goals and key features of the new application. This step was crucial in guiding our design process.

We developed wireframes and prototypes to visualize and test different interface and navigation solutions. This allowed us to gather user feedback and incorporate it into the design process.

We also participated in Design Thinking workshops, which helped generate innovative ideas and identify potential issues. These workshops fostered collaboration and engagement from all stakeholders.

In parallel, we established a dedicated Feature Team organization to ensure smooth collaboration between the design, development, and project management teams. This agile approach allowed us to maintain a fast pace and deliver high-quality results.

Overall, our work aimed to provide users with an optimized mobile banking experience, focusing on usability, simplicity, and user satisfaction.
