It doesn’t take a title..


to help
to support
to lead

all it takes is courage from the heart. 

I remember my early days of my career when I had the support of my reporting manager. 

She guided me in preparing the month end collection & write off report. We went on it for 2-3 months and with mock submission. 

Then she started taking overseas assignments that could over run into the end of the month. 

Center Manager asked “who will do the month end report ?” 

My manager “Jude”

CM: are you sure?

My manager “yes”

And my new responsibility started. When I could present the numbers with other managers, it was steps taken towards management. 


Thank you Coris for the leg up to a youngling with only o’levels and to be promoted within 30 months. 


To me, that’s what leadership is.

This is just from my point of view. I recently watched this movie a house of dynamite. Is an intense political decision-making movie. 

It ended quite suddenly. Then it got me thinking then my thought raced and another movie came to mind.

That movie was Mission impossible: ghost protocol. If you have not watched that movie, perhaps you ought to and then watch House of dynamite.

Once again, this is just my point of view it’s called connecting the dots.


At times something make no sense, and yet sometimes there are things happening in the background and all we need to do is to look around.

Today is Friday, we have come to the end of the week. Let’s take time to reflect and get it ourselves for what has happened from Monday till yesterday.

Dog, toilet, & Gen Z slang.. wHat??


It’s incredible what LinkedIn algorithm pushes out to the masses.. 

BUT what does these 3 have in common to training? 

Just in my view,

Dog - trainable and cute.

Toilet - most private YET, it’s on of the few trainings that human master well.. to avoid embarrassment

Gen Z slang - seriously? While it’s emerging, it’s seldom heard beyond these few : slay, delulu, lit, sus, NO CAP, gucci, (at least these are which I have heard and seen and used)

Last Friday evening, a gail blew and quite a few trees lost their brunches. 


In this present social economic state of 2025/2026 and perhaps 2027, how will the change of employment needs impact us? Especially among us in their 50s, 60s and with the retirement (not really a sense of retirement) age pushed beyond 62… 

Are our branches strongly “rooted” to our sides? Herein skillset for the next 5 to 10 years..


How do we remain relevant?

Anthony Robbins too has echoed, it is those we are skilled in a.i. tools will be ahead of the curve. 


Let’s prepare as it’s now closing 2025.

Do we have it? 


The root words of compassion are the Latin words com- ("with") and pati ("to suffer"), meaning "to suffer with". The word comes from the Latin compati, which combines these two parts to describe a fellow-feeling or deep tenderness for someone who is suffering. 


As leaders, many are called to have compassion. Yet many are struggling to... 

 this root word was shared by Fr Derrick ofm during last Saturday event at SJI organized by Catholic foundation and Catholic Business Network. An event where many are brought around to have compassion + hope.
