As a business development associate I was responsible for developing and preparing proposals in response to both government and commercial Requests for Proposals. This position required me to be a skilled communicator, detail oriented with comprehensive knowledge of my company’s objectives; practices; corporate capabilities and competencies; solution offerings; and position within the industry.  I was involved in each step of the proposal lifecycle and oversee proposal schedules and deadlines. In addition, I managed the proposal tracking database; helped with developing and implementing work solutions and concept of operations; designed sales and capability presentations; managed inventory and requisitions/purchase orders, responded to ad hoc information requests from the operations departments.

While I served as a staff assistant for one of the foremost committees in the United States Senate, I was responsible for maintaining the front office, answering phones, basic correspondence, filing, running errands, providing educational tours of the Capitol to visiting constituents, researching relevant and timely issues and pending bills to present to legislative aides, attend events and network on behalf of the Committee at Legislative events, and assist at press conferences and hearings.
