Why the change?

Simple.  Ever since the beginning I included topics centered around #Sales, #SocialSelling, #DigitalSelling and #SocialMedia for sales and sales leaders.  As I grew the fan base and followers it transformed into topics ranging from sales motivation, prospecting, managing growth, scaling, closing and many more.  So in 2020 it was relaunched to better connect with all of you, my fans.

I spent 106 consecutive quarters in B2B Sales, Marketing & Leadership roles growing hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue annually and now I have the privilege of motivating sales teams to engage in the Omni-Channel approach to prospecting and buyer engagement.

The National Association of Women Sales Professionals (NAWSP) was founded in 2016, by my friend, Cynthia Barnes in Metro Detroit. The goal was to create a national organization that could provide women in sales with professional development, training, support, and access to opportunities so that they could reach the Top 1% and Dance on the Glass Ceiling™ Since its inception, the organization has experienced explosive growth, growing to over 14,000 paid members in 30 months.  

Anyone who knows me knows that forming a company and having its team be diversified has been a #1 priority of mine since developing the strategic plan to form Vengreso.  In fact, out of the 39 partners, employees and contractors that we support, there are 22 female Vengresonians!  That equals 56% of our staff.  In addition, of our four founders, 75% are representative of minority backgrounds (2 Latino executives and 1 female executive).

Two words started it all in 2017:
1. Ventas = Sales 
2. Ingresos = Revenue

We had two goals: increase sales and revenue for teams and companies, and thus we became Vengreso.

After making my way into the 100% Club 15 of 18 years in corporate, I started my first company in 2015. 15-months later, I did a 7-way merger and formed Vengreso. We became the world's largest digital sales prospecting training company by 2022.

On Dec. 2020 we gave birth to a new SaaS product called FlyMSG a text expander and personal writing assistant. It was specifically designed to support our sales training programs to help sellers save prospecting time and increase productivity. And, it worked. It worked very well. 

Fast-forward one year later, and I woke up to an alert that a pharmacy had onboarded all of its digital pharmacists to FlyMSG. I then asked how many users we had on the "freemium" service. To my surprise, even though we onboarded only a few hundred users via our sales training programs, we actually had 2,000 users, with 65% being non-sellers!!! 

That is when we knew we had a burgeoning SaaS-based PLG company on our hands. Overnight we went from supporting Sales to supporting every vertical and use case you could possibly think of. 

I wish I could say we were smart enough to have forecast a horizontal application of FlyMSG, we weren't. But, we were in fact smart enough to see the trend!

That trend was further recognized in March 2022 when we were notified that we won one of the most prestigious awards in business you can achieve - a Gold 🥇Stevie Award for FlyMSG Innovation.

From the initial introduction to a new client, my priority was to gain their confidence and understand their reasons for investing in RAIN Group’s Sales training for their teams. In addition to the Senior CSM responsibilities of advising and guiding the company’s largest and most complex clients to successful outcomes from their investment in the Vengreso training and technology solutions, this role added oversight of the Customer Success team, as well as the team of Profile Writers. I also continued my work creating and refining the company’s processes for excellence and scalability.

What remained a constant throughout my career with Vengreso is the gratification of helping clients understand and implement the company’s proven methodologies. I loved hearing testimonials about a team’s excitement when their new LinkedIn profiles, connection and engagement strategies, and video prospecting skills resulted in engagement leading to more conversations with their prospects – which is the mission Vengreso was founded on.

As Senior Customer Success Manager, I used my experience as a Vengreso "original" to support clients throughout their journey with Vengreso's training and technology offerings.

In addition to working with the company's largest clients, I also took on more internal initiatives—revising and creating new processes, developing strategies for learner engagement and messaging, and learning more about the back-end technology of the Vengreso learning platform.

As a Customer Success Manager at Vengreso, I wore a few different hats.

The client-facing aspects of my role involved onboarding and guiding customers through the planning, preparation and execution phases of Vengreso's Digital Sales Training programs. I worked to keep projects on schedule, foresee issues before they became problems, and ensure delivery of an experience that was energizing both for the client company as well as their teams going through the programs.

I worked with client leadership, training and enablement teams, introducing a complete adoption strategy to deliver the end-user training needed to fill the sales funnel and drive massive success.

The internal aspects of my CSM role entailed working with our writers and managing LinkedIn profile development for Teams and Executives. Having started with Vengreso as a Profile Writer and Personal Branding Specialist, I loved working with our talented and experienced team of writers.

As an Independent Consultant to Vengreso, I wrote LinkedIn profiles for Vengreso clients. This service included one or more interviews with the individual, a collaborative review process for the keyword optimized content, and - on final approval - uploading the content to LinkedIn for the individual. 

In addition, I interviewed Sales Leaders for Training clients, to develop templatized profiles that the individual sales reps could customize with their own information. These profiles were keyword optimized to serve as lead magnets, helping client prospects understand how the company's solutions could help them realize their business goals.

In this role I also wrote and edited content for the Vengreso website, and edited the content of other Vengreso contractors.

As a freelance branding specialist, writer and editor, I started working at M3Jr Growth Strategies in 2016. For the next 15 months, I worked with Corporate and Individual clients to develop their online presence through LinkedIn.

Through interviews and gathering information about the clients they serve and the work they do, I created keyword optimized, buyer-centric profiles to help them be found and to engage and educate their target audience.

In June of 2017, M3Jr reorganized and became Vengreso, and I continued this work until I took the position of Customer Success Manager in 2018.

In 2017, after 10+ years as a freelance writer, editor, and indexer, I took a detour into the world of Customer Success. I was working as an independent contractor for a Sales Training and Technology company, writing and editing content for sales. I moved into the role of Customer Success Manager and eventually became Manager of Customer Success. 

During those five years, I also managed a team of writers and the content writing, editing, and quality assurance processes for that component of the business. I learned volumes about Customer Success, Relationship Management, SaaS, and Sales Training - all of which inform the work I do today, creating and improving content.

I loved my time in customer success and relationship management, but writing, editing, and consulting with companies and individuals around their content needs and professional presence is what I do best and enjoy most. And that’s how Editorial Strategists came about - to provide organizations and individuals with the content they need to amplify their brands and attract their target audience.

In my free time, you can find me exploring the beautiful Southcoast of Massachusetts with my husband, advocating for senior dogs, or watching Ted Lasso (again).
