When I joined Redpay the business was purely focused on one client, I have grown our client base 10 fold and Redpay is currently poised to capture large parts of niche markets through these clients.

We built an innovative Free SMS service called mahalaSMS; we used media to monetise the service to recoup the cost of the SMS’s using platforms like Adsense, Admob, InMobi, BuzzCity, Traffic Synergy as well as direct sales - we developed contextual based ad serving which was revolutionary at the time ( and hard for advertisers to understand! )
Some of our prize clients were: Hollard Life, Hollar PAYD, Hollard Funeral Soccer Laduma ( one of the biggest mobile sites in SA ) - we partnered with Webmail/Interface Media ( the biggest free email service in SA ) to offer our free SMS services on their platform as well as mobile strategies to their clients.

The key projects that we completed were: full customer facing and backend platforms for Nomi-mobile ( a Mobile Operator (MVNO) in the UK specialising in International Calling ), Buzzfuse ( provided contracting services for this startup ), various bespoke software platforms.
