As a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Intern at Veritas Collaborative, I served as a part of the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care to patients with eating disorders.  I worked as a part of the therapist-lead team, which included registered dietitians, nurses, occupational support, culinary services, psychiatry, and medical providers.  The Richmond center offered both partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care.

Provided gynecological, obstetric, and primary care services to people of reproductive age and beyond.  Educated on contraception, fertility, physiology and pathology of pregnancy. Referred clients to physician partners as necessary.  Coordinated care with dietetic services and radiology, as well as with outside healthcare providers.

Taking excellent care of birthing people, newborns, and the childbearing family through the birth process.  Coordinating care with other members of the interdisciplinary team and family support persons.
