I’m on a journey to read 150 books and learn from the experiences of 500 people. I use the insights I’ve gained, combined with my journey in Australia, to share my thoughts on LinkedIn.

My purpose is to add value to people’s lives by paying it forward through writing. My mission is to reshape how migrants perceive their journey using the power of storytelling.

My Story:

I grew up in Mumbai, India, where cricket thrives, but other sports struggle. I dreamed of becoming an athlete, but lacked the courage and relentless discipline to pursue it. Instead, I took the safer path—doing well in academics, earning a bachelor's in Computer Engineering, and securing an IT job.

In 2017, I left my promising IT career to follow my passion for sports. I pursued a Master’s in Sports Management at Deakin University to develop the skills needed for a meaningful career in sports. I made this leap because I felt stuck and couldn’t see myself in IT any longer.

Deep down, I always knew I wanted to work in sports. After much reflection, I finally found the courage to leave my comfort zone, embrace resilience and patience, and work toward making an impact in the field.

Since then, I’ve gained experience in both IT and sports. I worked as an IT consultant with Techsa Services in India and am currently a Project Officer at the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing in Adelaide.

I bring 5+ years of experience in computer networks and IT administration and 4 years in sports administration, coaching, and development. As a sports management professional, I’m passionate about inspiring people to lead active lives and motivating elite athletes to unlock their full potential.

Beyond work, I love playing soccer and cricket, whether in a competitive club match or a casual game with friends. I also enjoy coaching, reading books, and watching action anime. I’m passionate about helping people build reading habits and express themselves effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
•	Perform inspection, soldering, repairs, functional testing, and commissioning of electronic                                                                  
        products such as touch computers and handheld scanners (Zebra) 
•	Direct testing activities to meet essential project specifications including scope, quality, and cost 
•	Collaborate with other quality engineers to meet and exceed the customer quality expectations 
•	Exercise quality procedures and practising them in the workplace all the times to meet turn 
        around targets 
•	Conduct time studies and create priorities for efficient and accurate product testing

Electrical Engineer (Technologist)

Reporting to the Engineering Project Director, my role involved designing, sizing, testing and commissioning of LV/MV electrical systems and control automation equipment. Key to the role was practising effective decision making and complex problem-solving to intermittent industrial plant breakdowns and production interruptions.

Key Responsibilities
• Formulated and sustained scope of works (SOW), functional specifications, procedures and commissioning plans for substation, transformers, switchboard, the motor control centre(MCC), distribution boards, low voltage(LV) variable speed drives, control panels, motors, relays, circuit breakers, sensors, PLCs and HMIs
• Regularly collaborated with hardware vendors, manufacturers, outside contractors, and customers to work toward common objectives and deliver on-time budget-sensitive solutions
• Carried out Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Functional Safety Audit ensuring that the electrical equipment and control automation devices comply 100% to customer’s requirements

Key Achievements:
• Performed root-cause analysis, functional specification, and assembly of a 5 million-dollar project that not only reinstated but increased the power plant’s efficiency by installing two medium voltage variable speed drives (6.9kV/8MVA) and revamping the compressors’ control system
• The above-stated project not only removed the constant system trips and outages but also has been presenting up to $400,000 of energy savings every month by reducing and optimizing the motors’ speed

Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Saudi Diesel Equipment Company

Key Responsibilities:
•	Conducted electrical infrastructure condition assessments, master plan studies, power system studies to accommodate load growth while improving reliability, resiliency, and sustainability
•	Completed primary system modelling and calculations including plant layout and spacing, protection coordination, earthing, lightning protection, AC&DC maximum demand, cable rating, network analysis, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis
•	Developed secondary system modelling including equipment specification and selection of protection relays, power system monitoring equipment, online asset condition monitoring, fire, and security systems
•	Devised monthly / quarterly/semi-annual / annual plans for plant equipment maintenance using CMMS to schedule and track work orders, manage technicians’  time to complete daily tasks and set priorities and due dates ensuring all work is completed properly, efficiently, and on-time to meet the expected standards of KPIs 
•	Supervised and executed installation, testing, and commissioning activities of Generators, LV/MV switchgear, synchronization panels and transformers, UPSs, battery banks, and resistive/inductive load banks
•	Handled testing and commissioning of all ATS, AMF, Autostart and Synchronization/load sharing controllers (EMCP 4.1, 4.2 4.3 and 4.4, Woodward, DeepSea Electronics, ComAp, SICES, and Terberg Control System) 
•	Generated project status reports for higher management and other stakeholders

Key Achievements:
•	Surveyed standby power equipment failures in a fertilizer production plant and resumed its operation to client’s operations team by quickly determining new arrangements for electrical power circuits including transformers, circuit breakers, MCC, relays, switchgear and other electrical equipment on 30 sites in Saudi Arabia
•	Enhanced performance of the projects, operations, and maintenance teams during a critical Q4 by 20%; to successfully meet end-of-year KPIs

Electrical Project Engineer - Industrial Projects

Key Responsibilities
•	Developed a general understanding of the production plant processes and electrical equipment to provide technical support to all manufacturing areas
•	Assisted the electrical power system operations and internal production operators and staff; Equipment composed of five x CAT gas generators each of 1MW, 6 x Atlas Copco Compressors and Dryers, 1 x Boiler, 1 x Industrial Chiller
•	Developed expertise in the identification and resolution of technical problems
•	Performed effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of maintenance tasks
•	Assisted the Asset Managers ensuring adherence to the best practices for safety, quality, and environmental performance throughout the project life cycle
•	Prepared electrical drawings, PLC programs and configuration of operator interfaces
•	Managed the procurement of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic parts
