“Why I Started Studying Dubai Real Estate (Even Before I Thought About ‘WORKING’ In It)”

~A Founder’s Personal Story

I’ll be honest…

I didn’t start learning Dubai real estate to become an advisor.
I started because I was confused about my own first property investment.

 A founder.
 A dreamer.
 A guy who wants to build generational wealth early.
 And like most of us… I thought my first investment would be in   
 India.

So I began the journey.

And this is where my “problem” began.

 Not with India.
 Not with brokers.
 Not with projects.
 But with clarity.

 One state → One RERA.
 Another state → Another rule.
 Different yield expectations.
 Different processes.
 Different timelines.

Every expert I spoke to told me different things.
And every brochure looked the same.

 I wasn’t frustrated.
 I was just… unsure.

As a founder, I’m trained to make data-driven decisions.
But here, everything felt emotional.

That’s when a friend casually said:

“Bro, have you seen Dubai?”

 Not “buy in Dubai.”
 Just “have you SEEN how structured it is?”

That 1 sentence changed the next 365 days of my life.
So I did what I do best - I researched.

 Not as a broker.
 Not as an agent.
 Not as someone trying to “sell.”
 But as a curious Indian trying to understand global wealth with 
 full respect to India’s potential.

And slowly… I saw things I never expected:

 • Escrow accounts with strict release milestones
 • A single, unified RERA
 • 6–8% rental yields
 • A predictable regulatory design
 • USD-pegged stability
 • Fast delivery cycles
 • Transparent developer scoring
 • A clear remittance system (LRS + Form A2)

This wasn’t about choosing Dubai over India.
It was about understanding why so many Indians diversify globally without losing love for their home market.

 The more I learned, the more curious I became.
 The more I compared, the more questions I had.

And the more I spoke to Indian founders, HNIs, and young professionals…the more I realised:

 We all want clarity, not hype.
 We want safety, not shortcuts.
 We want global exposure, not confusion.

That’s why I’m starting this content series.

 Not as a salesman.
 Not as a channel partner.
 Not as a “Dubai promoter.”

But as someone who went on a personal quest for clarity…
and is now sharing the journey with anyone who is also thinking about:
